So after the big surprise this weekend i went back to see Andy Ruiz only loss, i remembered it was a close one but never really payed attention to it ... after rewatching i really feel Andy did good on that fight, was the agressor had parker going back and was winning most of the exchanges i wonder if Ruiz would have been taken more seriously with that win into his record wich imo he should have.
I wont go as far to call it a robbery but Andy looked better than JP in that one
My scorecard is on an app on a broken phone, I think I had it 115-113 Parker (i was all in rooting for Ruiz too). MAybe I was trying too hard to override my bias and ended up giving Parker too much credit - I just remember thinking that Andy could never hit Parker with a fight changing shot during that time when Parker seemed to be gassing, millimeters short. The momentum of the fight almost swung Ruiz's way, he didn't quite capitalize on it though, and then it stabilized for Parker....I'm gonna go back and watch it again this weekend. I was pretty upset at Ruiz because I thought he was better than what he showed
I think I had a draw Ruiz faded late which is something AJ team should've noticed but I guess they were overeating their guy
I wonder why HBO took down the fight the whole fight was on HBO boxing before
