Basically threw Anthony Joshua under the bus Saturday night. Same as he did with Kell Brook, same as he did with Rocky Fielding. Same thing he's done many times over. I did not in a million years expect him to do it to AJ though. And for the record, I am not an AJ fan so don't start with that bollocks.
AJ's whole training camp sounds like it was a mess. Too many stories now about him getting hurt in sparring, it seems common knowledge in the industry. I find it hard to see how he sustained all three injuries to his face whilst wearing a headguard? Swollen, bruised and scabbed left cheekbone, swollen, bruised and some kinda infection to right eyelid, and a cut on the bridge of his nose?
Terrible training camp. Injured in sparring, even possibly having a concussion. Having a panic attack in the dressing room and his own father wanting him pulled out of the fight. It's too much. There was clearly things not right. Everyone has said it, even haters. The neck massaging, doing the same with his legs between rounds, the vacant way AJ was acting and talking to his trainer, interracting with people in the crowd etc.
Eddie Hearn lying about this stuff is the final straw for me. I've never liked the man, been called a hater many a time. But enough is enough. They should have just come out and said it. He has AJ on a super short leash, in fact AJ has been gagged at this point. I don't doubt that the real story will come out eventually.
I am done with Hearn now, will never believe a word he says again. He is a slimey cretin. Even to just say, "yea we had issues but tried to soldier on", is a lot more than just flat denying it. At this point I think the only reason he will continue to deny is because it was him who pulled the trigger on sending AJ out to fight anyway. Fook Eddie Hearns!
P.S. I am a Tyson Fury nuthugger and a Deontay Wilder fan. But I am unbiased enough to call it how I see it. AJ was not right on Saturday night. We did not see AJ at his best in there, very, very far from it actually.
How much did Rocky Fielding actually make? Are there any reliable sources out there? I've seen his purse labelled as "seven figures" on an American site, but that could still be six figures in £? That's before factoring in camp costs and tax, etc. Is it really that much more than he could have made from holding the belt hostage and facing mandatories and voluntaries for the rest of his career?
But as i said, he would’ve probably lost to a mandatory anyway. He got a gift against the likes of John Ryder.
Fielding just isn’t that good, he would’ve probably ended up losing to the first half decent mandatory he got. Besides, nobody knows the future, he could’ve picked up some injury and it all ends.
If you’re on the level of fielding and get offered $1m, you should take it.
Can’t say he threw Rocky Fielding under the bus. He probably made 10x the money he’ll ever make and would’ve ended up losing that regular title to some Euro level fighter.

Show me the Abe Lincoln of boxing promoters.
The job description of being a promoter says you need to be loose with the truth & facts. Eddie is doing promoter sh^t all the time since he's after all a promoter.
I don't buy all these alleged reasons Joshua "reallllllllly lost", but even if they are true Eddie is doing what Eddie's supposed to do or what he feels is best to his & his fighters bottom line by lying about them if he is indeed lying about them.
Dibella seems to be a pretty straight shooter when he gives interviews ,
At least For me
The thing with Hearn is he doesn’t even try and be slick with his lies like say how Arum is , There’s times you know Arums full of BS but at least he’ll try and spin it to make it almost plausible
Hearns either isn’t smart enough or doesn’t even care to try and spin his lies.
In other news waters wet , grass is green / the sky’s blue
Way behind the times If you’re just realizing Hearn is lying POS who doesn’t give 2 sh.its about his fighters.
Even among Promoters where it seems the best you can hope for is just a run of the mill scumbag. Hearn May very well top the list of not even pretending to be truthful or give 2 flying f.ucks about the fighters he promotes.
He’s a Rich kid that doesn’t respect his fighters or the fans and thinks he’s the reason for his success not the other way around.
He is a Promoter...OF COURSE HE IS!
It is not just Eddie though, they're ALL Liars looking to make themselves wealthy off of guys who are way more talented than they are :dunno:
Just imagine if Anthony Joshua had refused to come out of his locker room because he was too scared to fight Andy Ruiz. lmao he would be ridiculed for the rest of his career and rightfully so.
AJ losing is on him. I despise Eddie Hearn but he had no legitimate reason to pull AJ from the fight. AJ was majorly overrated and lost to the better man on the night. Deal with it...
Fielding always sucked, Hearn did the right thing by cashing him out. Rocky made more money against Canelo than he made in all of his previous fights combined, so I doubt he's unhappy.
... Hearn is running a business... and that is how he thinks he should run it: making the best possible fights... no matter the outcome is... (I don't say that he's "right" or "wrong")...
Joshua could have been KOed by Wilder for twice the money. How’s that for a business decision?
lol
its the small victories huh? 😂
now im back and everyone knows you are a snitching coward
nice job 👍😃
My mum has passed motherfuker I don't give a shyt if "I snitched".
Keep it clean like a normal person.

As for Brook, i kind of agree. Seems like Hearn was desperate to get GGG to the UK to show he can attract big names to the UK and do a PPV and ended up sticking his best Welterweight in with him because Eubank chickened out. Then again, Brook didn’t HAVE to accept, but i think Hearn knew he would because the money was good and he wasn’t getting big WW fights.
what a bizarre and revisionist post....

i didnt even know that was bannable......
he a grown ass man and he snitchin over somethuing like this...
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Having a panic attack is serious business. Many even requiring medical attention and some form of treatment and aftercare. In fact, if the stories turn out to be true, it is almost criminal what people are saying happened. You remember Oliver McCall having a mental breakdown against Lennox Lewis? Yea, that chit is dangerous.
oliver mccall was doing drugs and didn't train.
you're telling me AJ wins a gold medal, knocks out all but one of the pro fighters he's faced including getting off the deck vs wladimir klitschko, and gets so panicked at the idea of fighting andy ruiz on 4-5 weeks that he can't make it out of his dressing room with medical justification?
you guys are incredibly f#cking pathetic. really just next level, all kinds of pathetic. i expected some excuses. really, i expected a lot more silence. i expected you to leave the forum the way 75% of pacquiao fans did when marquez knocked him out. this is an incredibly bad look for all of you. you're making ecxuses like a 9 year old who just saw his older brother get beat up and realized he's actually a human being. you're talking about excuses, but deep down you know you just saw somebody you look up to lose a fight to a better man even though you didn't think that was possible. you let eddie hearn tell you what to think, and bring AJ into your home to f#ck your girlfriend.
the dude lost to a better fighter because it's boxing adn you're allowed to punch each other. joshua's chin is not that good. watch all of his fights' closely and you'll see it manifest.
blame his preparation, because it's obvious he was overlooking ruiz. but don't f#cking excuse his loss! this is a 29 year old in his absolute f#cking prime and he lost to a flat out better HW with a better chin and fast enough hands and enough power to end the fight.
I heard from a mate of mine that knows UK boxing inside out that Hearn was responsible for the economic crash of 2008 and the death of around 5 million Jews between 1941 and 1945
