Really unfortunate for Ruiz had it gone to the cards ( I’m implying if he continued to win the fight and the way the judges were seeing it )
Just glad he took that opportunity away from the judges
Not that hard of a fight to actually score imo
I know I have the benefit of replay
I think I had given Joshua 1 round and, trust me, I was really trying to give him rounds because I know the way judges give superstars extra credit.
Me too
But I knew the judges would be looking to give him rounds 1,2,4,5.
That’s the problem fighting the superstars, you have to win rounds big to get them, which rarely allows you to just relax and box. Good for Ruiz, he did it the best way and took it out of the judges hands.
Yep its digusting especially after the Taylor robbery, its to be expected with Hearn cards... but remember Wilder was ahead on the cards after losing the first 5 rounds agaisnt gerald washington, ahead agaisnt Ortiz...
Yeah but you have to consider they don’t count the final round where he got stopped
Rounds 1, 2, 4 & 5 were all fairly close really. Ruiz only dominated round 3 and 6 out of the scored rounds and he got dropped himself in round 3 too.
I had Ruiz ahead though. Although Ruiz was in control mostly after the knockdowns, in rounds like round 4 nothing happened and could be scored either way.
