If Hearn doesn't want an immediate rematch between Joshua and Ruiz after all - which is far from impossible and would even be understandable - Al Haymon might try to make Wider-Ruiz instead of Wilder-Ortiz II which could be done even with contracts already signed considering they are all with PBC.
That is one huge fight that doesn't need marinating.
I d like wilder v ruiz.
Wilder said Josh is a fake champ in losing to ruiz as if ruiz is a Mexican roadsweeper?
Let's see how bad ruiz really is then Mr wilder! I think Josh should let ruiz fight wilder. Josh can fight ortiz instead
May have been broken but has to be amended somewhere down line. Klit was head and shoulders above the rest for so long, I mean you don't want to go and give alphabet organizations the power to run the boxing world do you? Imo Fury the lineal champ. Most other non biased agree. Seems he is also the best HW out there right now imo. My favorite to watch is Wilder, I've had soft spot for him since his first pro fight he had here in Nashville, but I don't wanna become one those guys who just pick my favorite and then make up bunch of **** lol
Wladimir may have been the best, but not fighting his brother still meant that he wasn't lineal and there's no changing that.
The criteria is clear.
The last lineal champion was Lennox Lewis; folks can count 'Klitschko brothers" as champion, but that's silly (which is where folks basically did the amalgamated transfer from the brothers onto Wladimir).
Tyson Fury beat the best heavyweight of the last 10 years, but boxing scholars know for sure that he was never lineal champion.
Marketing technique used to drum up interest, lol

Forgot the question mark in the title but my first post is pretty clear.
It's not like promoters never lie or change their minds.
I think Joshua would still want an immediate rematch after the dust has settled, I'm not so sure about Hearn. It wasn't a one punch knockout or a win on cuts. Joshua got dominated, dropped four times and looked like he didn't want to be there after round 3.
Doesn't change the blatant bait-and-switch.
Every boxing scholar understands Fury is the lineal champ. Just so you know the trinkets don't truly mean anything...

Rematch is happening. And Ruiz will win again. Wilder knocks out the old dude again and loses to Fury, goes and takes titles from Ruiz in between the third Fury fight and then loses to fury again. Then fury wIill not only be Lineal champ, he will have all alphabet trinkets even though the trinkets mean zero. Would love a HW champ to get all belts and then throw them all in trash and just keep lineal title. Man can dream haha...
no such thing kid...
Eddie Hearn is in a Frenzy! He is likely sucking up to Andy right now try to make sure that he doesn't run away with those Belts or even worse start Dropping Belts and those Belt start Spreading Around!
AJ will take his rematch to avoid those Belts ending up in Wilder's hands or start Spreading Around HOWEVER, it will cost them A LOT of $$$. You thought Charles Martin got a lot of money, Andy Ruiz is about to get LIFE CHANGING MONEY!
What could happen is Haymon put him in a Soft Touch/Showcase fight as Unified Champion at Staples or Stub Hub/Dignity Health Sports Park and pack that place in and Andy make himself a lot of money on Top of getting even more money for the rematch. Even for the rematch, does Andy push for the rematch to be in America again? Does he push for it to be on PBC PPV this time and really cash in on top of the Guaranteed money he would have to be paid
This is a Disaster for Eddie Hearn make no mistake about it!
I don’t know what happened with AJ last night. He lacked any energy and intensity and his punch output was dismal and he didn’t look like he wanted to win the fight. It could be just a fluke that he had such an ‘off night,’ but doing an immediate rematch may be too risky. If he gets knocked out in a rematch then where does that leave him?
This upset has really turned the heavyweight division upside down. I think that’s a good thing.
Not so far fetched to think Wilder will get a shot at those belts before AJ.
WBO mandatory is due later this year, which will take priority over a rematch (remember Tyson getting stripped by IBF for rematching Klitschko).
Whilst mentioning IBF, they could also call Pulev mandatory.
The ONLY thing that would trump these mandatory fight would be a Unification with Wilder.
So you never know..
Why headline your bull**** in the authorative when it's just wild speculation, lol?
Joshua already said he wanted the rematch, Hearn has already made it clear that they are set to bet it all on a Wembley rematch in November/December.
Wilder is going to fight Ortiz in September, Ruiz-Joshua 2 will happen in November/December, and if RuizJr wins the rematch, the Fury fight likely gets put off to make way for Wilder-RuizJr in early 2020 for the unified/lineal heavyweight championship (with a clear Wilder win setting up a summer showdown for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world with the Fury rematch).

This shows their intentions all along doesn't it? They wouldn't cancel Ortiz Vs Wilder 2 if Joshua won last night. Pathetic
Pathetic?
Hearn has done everything in his power to freeze Wilder out & even called Finkel Winkle.
That's what's pathetic.
Now, Al is showing Hearn who the boss is & Al hasn't put out one single insulting headline to try & brainwash the boxing public

Man, if they froze Joshua out that would be karma lmao!!!
