Can Wilder fans please explain why he would rather rematch Ortiz than fight Joshua?

They don't give a SH#T about our Opinions (The Boxing Fans) nor do they care who we bash and put the blame upon. The Mission here is the continue to get more and more of the Casual Sports fan intrigued and to get Mainstream Media to continue to talk about AJ vs Wilder, Wilder vs Fury II, AJ vs Fury and that is happening particularly on ESPN Neither one of them can avoid the questions, everywhere they go, every interview they do the question is asked. Not a matter of IF, it is a matter of WHEN and I think as long as both keep winning then the fight will finally happen 2020 and I don't think money or split will be a issue because it is going to be so much money in the pot for it

in a years time wilder will have gone from wide margin b-side to 50/50 piece of the AJ fight...provided he stays winning.....and thats gotta drive some of you mad hearn recently called fighting wilder a "gamble"....you havent heard wilder or his people call fighting AJ a gamble....they have nothing to lose really...if wilder loses the pbc has other fighters in other divisions and will still be a force in boxing....if AJ loses hearn isnt much a power player in the US/global scene like i always say...people at the blackjack/craps tables that have money arent gambling...they are playing....thats wilder at this point...hearn and AJ have alot to lose....thats why they are calling it a "gamble"....people who cant really afford to lose are the ones "gambling" yes if AJ loses he will still make money going forward and has made alot of money...but the goal is to keep making more and more....if that wasnt the goal hed just quit now as he had plenty of money...but if he gets beat and knocked out by wilder his status diminishes greatly wiilder has nothing to lose.....everyone claims no one watches or goes to his fights and he makes no money...so what does he have to lose?nah wilder and more importantly pbc would have a lot to lose. Part of getting haymons tv deal involved having a heavyweight champ. If wilder loses that belt it’s a big blow to pbc. Of course they still control the 147/54 divisions but if Joshua/Hearn/DAZN control all the heavyweight titles then they call all the shots in a wilder rematch, vs Kownacki etc and Fox wants to be in the heavyweight business. PBC recently lost half of the 175 pound titles and are down to none, went from 3 belts at 126 down to 2 and if GRJ goes to DAZN they are down to 1 who may not be at 126 (LSC). very much longer while ESPN has the majority of the players with Valdez, Warrington, Frampton, Stevenson and Magdaleno. PBC only has one major player at 130 and Top Rank controls 135 while DAZN controls 160. I don’t think pbc wants to lose anymore belts.

In the end, Wilder WILL get the money he's asking for. Haymon and Finkel been in this game a while, they know what they're doing.

He wants a 50/50 split vs. Joshua. He hasn't been offered that split so he's fighting the hardest possible fights in the interim while he chases that split. You may think an $80M flat fee for two Joshua fights is more than enough, but Wilder wants 50/50. if wilder sleeps AJ in the first fight you think hes gonna want 40 mil for the rematch? lol...hell no wilder can make 50-60 mil in the first one and then hold out for more if theres demand for a rematch.....wilder aint taking no 40 for a rematch if he sleeps AJ

I'll give you two very important reasons pal then I don't wanna hear anymore about ok.1 is if family means anything to u you'll realize that these brothaz are very concerned for the care of each other daughters and second the second fight was epic and epic equals trilogy.giant_king out peace lolBoth of them having sick daughters is not a good reason to not fight AJ next. Pure and simple. Money. His cult fans defend him no matter what and his team are experienced people that still see the AJ fight growing.

Wilder fans don't want the fight with Joshua to happen. I have zero interest in a rematch with Ortiz at this point. He is a year older and was 100lbs overweight in the ring after the Breazeale fight. Wilder KO's him even quicker in a one sided rematch. Joshua and Wilder are in their primes right now and they needed to fight. Wilder wouldn't even negotiate with Joshua, him and his team rushed to get this fight signed so no negotiations could take place.
