cant pinpoint it just yet.
but i see something
no im not joking. i really feel Ruiz handspeed and accuracy would beat the robot.
PLACE YOUR BETS EARLY.
blue_dolphin, what do you think about Jennings/Joyce and Rivas/Whyte in July? I can see Jennings giving Joyce problems with his speed and movement, but it will be an uphill battle to get a decision on enemy turf. Rivas is likely overmatched, but if Whyte gasses in the late rounds, he has the stamina and combinations to get him out of there.

I picked AJ for the easy win because I saw AJ fights. Yeah, AJ has flaws but I never considered a guy with Andys body shape to beat the #1 HW.
Never seen Andy in action. Looked at the physical stats (height/reach) and figured no way will AJ let Andy get close.
AJ did everything wrong and Andy reaped the benefits. AJ will not make the same mistakes again and Andy will always have short arms.
Yeah, I know... Dimitrenko had advantages too and lost....AD is not on the same level as AJ, imho.
I wouldn't bet against Fury since he survived Wilder. He will win a boring 12 dec or Schwarz will gas out by the 9th.
bro AJ never had a jab in his career and he will not develop one in a couple months. Ruiz will close the gap again and get inside. and nobody has a better inside game than Ruiz at HW. AJ will be betting favorite yet again but the odds wont be as wide which sucks for me cuz im picking him to win again.
:hail:
''You have to spread the green around.....''
Dumb assed BS rule :haha:
Congrats to that $$$$ windfall. Putting your visions to work. I hate betting on fights because the odds never make it worth it on a regular basis. Once every decade the stars line up.
I'm putting 1k on AJ in the rematch just on principle (the many people who, in their heads, picked Andy for the upset but don't like to make money off of their gift).
you betting on the Fury fight? im throwing 40 bucks for the upset because those odds are crazy but i admit its a hail mary prayer since i know nothing about his opponent. with Ruiz i came in having watched like 5 of his fights and knew his skills real good.
I tossed spare money at it because, assuming he doesn't throw the fight, Schwarz has one chance against Fury: that Fury gets overconfident, leaves himself open and gets nailed with the right hand, which is Tom's signature go-to shot. He's got enough power to drop Fury. I don't think he has enough speed to land that shot unless Fury lets him, and without that, I see another Pianeta fight.
But I tossed spare money because, Fury might underestimate the guy like Joshua underestimated Ruiz. You just NEVER know.
so u actually seen him fight? i never even watched his highlights. what does he do great that stands out? and what are the odds right now to see if my site says the same
Fury/Schwarz odds are quite ridiculous. I mean basically they're giving Schwarz so low of a chance it's pointless to even bet on Fury winning.
thing is i was 100% confident with Ruiz because i seen 5 of his previous fights and knew his strengths would exploit AJ's weaknesses of having zero jab and no inside game. i dont know a damn thing about Schwarz if i bet on him it'll be a hail mary prayer. but if those odds remain that way i might throw 50 or 100 his way.
i bet $1000 on Ruiz. do the math. 25-1 underdog.
i pretty much shared the money with family n friends so don't have much left.
i bet on the site mybookie and got paid via western union.
in a rematch i still think Ruiz will be underdog but we will never see these odds again.
Deleted your unnecessary personal attack.
See, your response is not crediting Ruiz at all, that is why Crow Café should have been your immediate destination.
What you're saying about Joshua isn't even true. He went in one time and got clipped because he misread whether Ruiz was hurt or not. Vast majority of the fight he was properly at distance. But you weren't paying any attention (or credit) to Ruiz and what he was doing.
Ruiz stayed just outside of Joshua's maximum power range. When Joshua would try to jab in, Ruiz would pop him. When Joshua tried to counter Ruiz, Ruiz would counter the counter.
No bro. You had it right the first time, just for the wrong guy. It was levels - Ruiz's skill level over Joshua, period point blank.
Done.
There was no personal attack. You weren't the thread starter so I couldn't care less whether or not you saw me give him props for his pick, it's really that simple. I also couldn't care less whether or not you saw me give Ruiz props (which I did). My analysis was what I saw during the fight and don't care if you agree or not, that's what I saw. You aren't some kind of grand moderator on this site bro. Stay in your lane. SMH
Nice to see one of these predictions come true
Might sell my car and put the money on Steve Rolls
All Aboard
Next stop Steve Rolls town
Let me know how it works out for you
I’m a gambler but wouldn’t touch that action
I saw no props.
In fact you said "levels" implying that Ruiz was "levels below" Joshua. He proceeded to prove to you that the only level Joshua had was eye level, and even that didn't help him.
I couldn't care less if you saw the props or not, they weren't for you fool. Joshua fought down to Ruiz's level, literally. I don't know why that dude gave away his height and reach advantage. You don't throw shots and stay inside with a guy who can punch with fast hands. Terrible gameplan
Great prediction and I'll be watching for your threads in the future.
This crazy fight broke BoxingScene. Every thread on the front page is about AJ right now. It hasn't been this flooded since Mayweather beat Pacquiao.
we just witnessed the biggest upset in boxing history.
Buster Douglass > Andy Ruiz
hopefully u mofos listened and cashed in.
Ruiz fight vs Dimitrenko showed me he could whoop the robotic AJ. way too quick and accurate with combos. AJ being so tall and stiff, having no jab at all told me Ruiz would close the distance easy.
Nice prediction bro.
Crow Café bro. You had a reservation and didn't show up.
Crow? Why would I eat crow? Because I picked the wrong guy to win? It's not like I was talking mad crap about Ruiz. I just didn't think he'd win. I gave him props, now I've moved on
Yep it was pretty shocking, I thought a determined Ruiz could cause some issues because he does have talent and Joshua had some known flaws like stamina, recovery, easy to hit. There is a big leap from doing well enough to survive and cause problem to really putting on a dominate performance like he did.
Still I didn't think he had the power he is a heavy so he obviously has some pop but he was never a big puncher to really do enough damage, and Ruiz to me never looked that tricky but he was sure able to fool Joshua.
