So more people ride horses than play darts or snooker?...I don’t think so hes not being clear - people playing the horses at horse races. Not just the jockeys lol. Betting culture on horses is massive in the UK. But I agree thats not really a direct interest in the sport itself., since most of them dont watch it or care about the aesthetics of it. You are right darts and snooker are big too, but not huge. Cycling isnt really. f1 is largely regarded as a fix and boring. Rugby is a little high on that list but theres no way you can write it off, its huge in wales and prominent in Southern England.

Even American Boxers are in awe of British fight fans. We all know Deontay Wilder said British Boxing fans were better than American Boxing fans when he commentated on the Joshua Wlad fight. I’m a bit surprised at field hockey, never seen it on the telly apart from the olympics.. That lists a load of rubbish, rugby union and rugby league are two separate sports for example I’d of thought darts, snooker, athletics, cycling and F1 would have been in there as they are shown on terrestrial tv It the number of people that play it, not watching it.

I personally don’t support ever British fighter, but I have got behind a few. I think it is just way we are wired, need to think the British ones are more covered in the U.K. then the Americans, if we like the fighter inside and outside the ring we support them. Age doesn't come into it when it comes to prime. You can be in your 40's and still be on top. Then you can have fighters in their 20's who are shot due to losing or what not. Just look at Fernando Vargas and the likes. The fact remains, Hopkins was in better condition than Pedroza was. Hopkins had some quality wins after the Calzaghe defeat. Pedroza was at the end of his career who beat a few bums then lost, then retired. That's to go with the fact that Hopkins was the much better fighter all time. McGuigan was prime while Calzaghe was past is by more than a few years and having the second to last fight of his career. If you can't see the huge difference here, then you're too far gone in being unbiased when it comes to Calzaghe. But it's clear you hate him with a passion for what ever reason and look to dog him with the most mundane bullshlt I think I've ever seen.
