Dazn’s announce team and overall broadcast production is so cringe

Aside from SRL the only other announcer who I think should be replaced is the Jamaican guy with the dreads . The guys lips start flapping before he speaks and continue to flap after he's finished . Plus his constant reminders about Jacobs beating cancer and being from Brownsville . Shet got old quick .

You guys are tripping. Sergio mora is the goods. He's always spot on. Mora has been doing a great job overall. The vast majority of posters here have only watched 1 DAZN card and think he sucks.

The announcing is no different than any announcing which is the problem. The announcers are always going to highlight the activity of the boxer who is being paid more by whichever company is doing the broadcast. It is so frustrating to have to hear announcers voices perk up and sound excited when the name guy is landing punches but stay reserved or in the worst case talk about something else when the opponent is scoring. I really miss the old days when the guys on the networks just called the fight rather than the fighters. Of course in those days networks didn't have exclusive deals with fighters.

Mora is alright he tries to be neutral same with Chris Mannix Sugar Ray Leonard though I don't know what to say he basically just shows up to sit down and collect the pay check at least go nostalgic and tell stories of the good old days ffs It's bizarre right? I have mentioned this before. You would swear he was a wind up doll with a certain few words programmed in...lol. It's seems as if he doesn't even watch the fights! One of the undecard blow out fights. He was asked specifically what he thought of it. His reply was " There was so much at stake, they showed why they're the best" WTF is that! Another totally innapropriate generic reply. Actually, he's ****ing weird and I loved the dude growing up. They should **** him off, he's embarassing. If you want to be an analyst take it ****ing seriously or **** off, no matter who you are. He'd be the **** everybody hates at work.

In their effort to come up with a cool name, they made it hysterically uncool. :lol1: Maybe that sounds fresh in the UK but in the states, it sound like old business men trying too hard to be modern. If I was in marketing I'd honestly start asking the staff to call it "Daz-in" to try to save face. I've not heard it with Mora. I streamed the Sky cast and it was the ass end of awful. Carl Froch comes across as a clueless fanboy. For a guy who was a really solid boxer, he does a terrible job at commentary. Offers zero insights (which is the only reason to use boxers on commentary). DAZN has nothing to do with the UK and is not even available in the UK why is this so hard for people to understand. And *****ing about the pronunciation of its name?is this what the hating has come to..at least stick to the original posters *****ing about the team if anything

I'm not big on Sergio Mora at all. He was basically blowing Danny Jacobs. It was weird. The team is not any different for me than Lampley and Merchant though. I couldn't stand Lampley or Merchant. And it wasn't just the "BANG BANG BANG BANG"...he was such a company man and just ran his mouth about whoever HBO was pushing at the time. I'm not thrilled by the DaZone team, but DaZone is ALREADY better than HBO and Showtime. I can rewatch the ENTIRE CARD in HD RIGHT NOW - TODAY - at any time I want. Neither HBO or Showtime ever made their rebroadcasts available for usually another week. In 2019...that is unacceptable. hmmmmmm. TIVO bro. hit record and watch it whenever. Way quicker then hoping Dazn log in is actually working. Nice agenda tho.

I agree, Sergio Mora is horrendous. Brian Kenny is better at those 1 on 1 interviews but not commentating.
