Fans just remember the end of the Pedraza fight, but he remembers the actual whole fight. So do Floyd and Al. Stopping someone faster than someone else did is not always the same as being better than them. Briedis Prescott stopped Khan in 1 round, it took Canelo 7.
This is why they're ducking the fight.

Two completely undefensed shots on the chin in succession. Just one example of many in that fight of Tank not being as skilled as Loma, and the power difference is exaggerated in my opinion.
Loma would knock him out.
They might be in two different divisions but Lomachenko himself said he could still make 130 pounds and joked that he would fight Tank for free if that's what it took.
Looking at lomachenko during the Crolla weigh in I would still believe he could make 126 if he REALLY wanted to. 130 is Lomachenkos ideal weight class and Tank is gonna have to move up sooner or later.
Maybe hell just skip 135 because once he moves up there are no excuses and hes "25" and still growing
They're waiting for Loma to show signs of being really shot. They have basically admitted it.
Also remember when Tank heard Floyd had talked to Top Rank about the fight and Tank went on a rant saying "he's trying to get me beat" lol.
Also let's stop acting like Tank is a kid. He's been a pro for years now and is almost 25 and a 2x world champ.
I rate Tank highly but it's no secret they're waiting for Loma to show he's slipped before taking the risk.
Tbh... I think many in the PBC are easily persuaded what to do and what to say to keep Showtime and Fox a float. Tank being brainwashed why he shouldn't fight Loma

Stupid thread.:lol1:
Interesting how Pedraza wasn't afraid to stand his ground and try to walk down the big puncher, but was running around the ring in the Loma fight. Seems to happen a lot to some fighters who Loma fought that dont usually run around the ring.
Tank looked gassed in moments in that fight and his other fight where he looked average. Thats when Loma would put the pressure on.

Well said. The sport has been very frustrating to watch ever since Haymon became a player. None of the best fights happen when they should.
