Mexican challenger Juan Francisco Estrada won the World Boxing Council super flyweight title Friday, holding on for a unanimous decision over Thailand champ Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in a rematch. Estrada dominated most of the fight, outboxing Srisaket and winning the majority of the rounds on the judges' scorecards at the Forum arena in Los Angeles. Click Here To Read More]
Nietes just dropped his title because he wants a big fight. I say Estrada-Nietes is next. That will be one for the purists and if Estrada wins he’s fighter of the year. He’d probably be the smallest fighter to win that accolade.
Hella true! Only reason Marquez had to fight Pac so many times is because he got screwed by the judges the whole time. There is a general consensus by most boxing fans that Marquez won 2-3 of their 4 fights, not only 1. Estrada has to fight the judges in his career too unfortunately. First he got hosed by Gonzalez where I believe it was a tie at least but the scores were stupid wide considering how drained he was. Also vs Rungvisai the 1st time I believe he won 7-5.
A judge only gave Juan 2 rounds against González lol
A judge scorecard against Viloria was a Draw lol
It seems Rungvisai is now past it. He had numerous wars in his last 5 fights and now he clearly got beaten by Estrada.
But still great fighter.
This versión of Estrada is too much for any versión of Sor.
Stop with the excuses
