It Wasn't A Lowball; It Was A Dropped Ball!

This is a team that got made a good offer, thought they were the only show in town, and walked away from it as a bargaining tool. Then found out that team AJ didn't care if they walked away so they're quickly backpedaling. $5 million was always a very credible offer. No-one will convince me otherwise. As a boxing fan I'm now torn. In the short term, I want to see Joshua v Ortiz. But I also wouldn't mind team AJ sending a message that you can't keep walking away from fights or you may not get another offer. That's more of a medium term benefit for boxing fans. The "let's freeze AJ out" movement just got its first big FU. By the way, huge balls from AJ to try to make this fight. Of the available contenders, a dangerous southpaw on a few weeks' notice is a big risk. If you ever need it confirmed that this guy is the real deal then this should do it. I don't see how anyone can cry duck. He's made very credible offers to every fighter in the top 5 now. In a money game he's the one trying to be a sporting champion.

If he's still the same Ortiz who fought deontay then he has a great chance to beat Joshua easy win for Ortiz but if his body wearing down like some suspect then he doesn't have a chance

I for one am hoping that Jimenez pushes Hearn to make a new offer... though i'm doubtful they'll get an improved offer after all this; if I was in Hearn's position I would just offer them the last deal they refused and tell them to take it or leave it. BS, no one put out a statement like he did without knowing the full details of the offers, he was probably backed into a corner and now he had to retract his lowball statement, in the interview Hearn gave about “Exposing” Team Ortiz, he made mention of Jimenez BY name, he said he text him and said you lying bastard!
