You really went full retard there. Don't go full retard, boy
How?
- Suppose GGG is offering Abel 2% and will fufill the 6 fight deal. To make the same money he would make from GGGs offer Abel would need to get a 10% fee from a fighter averaging $3.33 million/fight over 6 fights. How many fighters in the world get that? None in Abel's stable. GGG can definitely get a solid trainer who would accept the deal and save $8 million in the process
- GGG is old and developed. Heck, he was already a solid product before he even met abel. How much can Abel bring to the table for GGG at this point?
- We don't know how GGG valued his training for his fights with Canelo. The way Abel is complaining, it kind of makes me think GGG paid the full 10% for those fights. Good chance when he saw 7 figures go to Abel he thought "well, that wasn't worth it".
- Trainers are providing a service to the fighter. If you can find someone to provide an service of the same quality at a lower cost you take it. GGG believes he can.
You can discuss "industry standards", but this is a brain-dead argument good for pissing away money needlessly.
Yep.
It’s what Roach got from Pacquiao too.
GGG fans coming in defense of their that’s all lol. Even though they’re wrong.
Umm no roach never got 10 percent of it.
http://tss.ib.tv/boxing/articles/19838-does-manny-pay-roach-a-percentage-or-flat-fee
Manny’s guarantee for the Algieri fight was $23 million. Would he pay Roach a customary ten percent of that pile? I’m guessing no..it is customary for that percentage to be lowered when the purse numbers get into the astronomical range…
I used to think a trainer got around 10%, but for the fighters earning real big money a set fee was decided upon instead.
No idea though to be honest. :dunno:
You just don't know a damn thing about boxing
%10 is fairly standard for trainers
Please go to MMA with satiev1
Yeah, that's a no buddy.
You actually think Pacquiao, Mayweather, Oscar paid their trainers 10% of their purse once they got to the PPV level??
Bless your heart.
I could take a screenshot for you.
BIGPOPPACUCK set my karma to -65,000 because I said things about him that he didn't like...
If you look at my actually control panel it's almost ALL GREEN...it's at like -64,915 now...that's ~+85.
THANKS ALOT WONDERWHITEBREADMAN LMFAO
You're welcome beantard:fing02:
It's not about who's worth what, 10% is an industry standard, it's just what a professional boxer pays to a trainer.
You think a trainer deserves 7 figures per fight? Lol

I can see your brain is stuck in mud so i will just bid you good day.
Yep.

I am a Golovkin fan but I'm not defending this.
It does matter in terms of absolute amount's. Anything you spend money on can be converted into a percentage of your income. Just because you start making more money doesn't mean you mindlessly start spending more money on the same stuff.
In the end GGG just doesn't think Abel is worth paying $1.6+ mil per fight. It's a shame that the relationship ends on a salty note, but it is what it is.

Isn't 10%-15% of the purse the standard range for a trainer to get?
Yep.

Doesn't matter, percents are percents, if GGG makes 10k per fight that 10% is peanuts. Sanchez contributed into that 100m deal, don't understand why GGG is disrespecting him like that.

I like LomaGOAT.
I'm a white guy and I like Fury too
TC, Ca$hnelo, Mikey, AJ, Kovalev...I just like good fighters. Most happen to NOT be white, but that has nothing to do with race.
I'm outspoken about HATING PBC garbage that's almost all black people making excuses for other black people for not fighting the best fighter in the world - Terrence Crawford.
**** has me CTFU
Ok then, in your words, why do you have sh@t for karma?
That should be interesting.
P.S. A Mexican isn't considered white. That's brown :fing02:
Ten percent is the standard, but as fighters earn more, they often negotiate a lower rate. Manny did this with Roach, who had already earned millions with Manny, so when the Floyd fight was signed, Manny made Roach an offer and he accepted. I doubt his offer was 2%, probably closer to 5%. If GGGs offer of 2% is true, it is a lowball offer. However, where else is Sanchez going to earn $2M over the next 6 fight/three years? At his 10% rate, he'll need to train someone earning over $3M per fight for 6 fights...who is that going to be?
Yup, when fighters start making over 20 million per fight a lot of them they negotiate flat fees instead of ten percent. Koncz claimed pacman paid roach five million for the floyd fight thats a lot more than floyd jr paid his father, floyd sr probably only earned 500k for that fight whil his son earnd 200 million.
Roach said pacman pays him generously pac will write down a number on paper and roach will shake his head and agree when the number is good, but roach the first number is always more good so he never had to say no.
Roach is the highest paid trainer in boxing, its why he almost cried when manny dumped him because he was missing that fat check.
I think roach is getting 10% but maxes out at 100,000$
and pac gave him a million bonus to really show his appreciation for him
Yeah ten percent is the standard trainer fee, if ggg is reducing it to two percent thats btch made and foul.
Pacquiao gives Roach more money than any trainer in boxing, when he fought floyd pacman paid him $5million koncz got mad when roach said he wasnt paid for the horn fight and reveal roach shouldnt be talking because many gave him 5 million when they fought floyd. Pacman earned like 120 million for the mayweather fight.
Pac typically gives roach an extra 500k to a million on top of the trainer fee. But the floyd fight was so massive he gave roach that amount for gratitude thinking it would be their last hurrah.
10% is the "standard" for boxing trainers but if you think you are getting 10% from Top Tier fighters at GGG's level when he is getting paid 100 mil you are smoking some ****. 10 million dollars is a joke.
2% is the fight number IF ITS BASED on his 100 million contract. 2 million dollars from 1 fighter is crazy good money considering Abel has a stable of fighters to train.
You sir need to look at number values and not just percentages, unless you think GGG should be stupid and ACTUALLY pay Abel 10% of his 100 million contract?
Good post! Like Abel is going to get 1.75 million per fight. That's crack smoke worthy stuff from him.
If he got 2%, that's still $400k per fight (6 week camp) That's hella good money.
Hater, sure. Racist? Please, go on XD XD.
No racism here you Trumpy
Lol @ Trumpy, wtf does that mean?
And yeh, you don't like white fighters. You know it's well known here right?
See that BIG A S S RED K bar next to your name right?
:spam::fing02:
yea .. the PRINCIPLE of it.
this is like 2 guys hustling on the block for 10 years then one guy hits the lotto and buys a mansion.. then he offers his boy an efficiency. lil g did not come up on his own. abel was instrumental in his rise and fame. lil g just fcked him with no honor.
he dont deserve a third canelo fight. he needs to beat andrade or charlo.. or fck off.
GGG would have been successful just the same with anyone in there. In fact, if he was fighting smarter without Abel, he may even be less shop worn right now.
Why is it the same people that sat here for years talking sh it about Sanchez, how bad of a trainer he was, he was always saying dumb sh it, and using Sanchez "154-168" words against GGG for years, why those same people mad because he didn't get caked up? :dunno:
