It's now fair to ask if Tarver was on PED for the 2nd RJJ fight

One of the strangest knockouts I have ever seen was the Tarver drilling Roy Jones Jr, handing Jones his first professional loss, and shocking the world. Looking back on it, Roy was never the same after those knockouts, the power Tarver exhibited in the 2nd match, and the 3rd match were far beyond anything in his career. Couple that with the fact that they were blood rivals, winning this fight met more than anything to Tarver, toppling Roy Jones Jr was his white Whale. Roy was physically a different fighter after the fight, the shots he took that night effectively ended his career, Tarver's scary power never really rang a bell with me until he actually started submitting to extensive drug testing. When Tarver fought Jones, they checked your Urine AFTER the fight, not blood, not hair, nothing like that, it was pretty much the Wild West, and Tarver clearly has no problem with taking PED's to win fights, and achieve glory. I think it's fair to question if he was clean that night, esp when you look at the images of him leading up to the fight. The manner in which he knocked out Jones was unnatural. What, you mean the way Roy was on PEDS? And Tarver wasn't hitting any harder than what he normally did. Roy just had a chin made of glass.

I don't think it's fair really. And as far as the KO goes, Roy was already showing deterioration in the first fight and Tarver landed the shot with his eyes closed. Plus Roy got to his feet. It was a so, so ko. It ended an era and all but the ko itself wasn't the most impressive.

Yea I remember that guy.i remember everybody hated him for beating Roy.roy was the Floyd of boxing back then the face of boxing.no one wanted him to lose.then this jerk came in lol
