Doesn't this very site (a US site I might add) count the IBO these days? Clearly getting paid a pretty penny to do so. The IBO belt / belt holder is only significant if a true champion like Fury holds it, paper champs devalue a title while in their possession.

This clearly isn't true ,history shows that at least while fighters are undefeated. The fact is the forums narrative has changed all of a sudden ,now its O.K and it a lets wait and be patient attitude . If Haymon was vocal.... Oddly enough, in the WBC top 10 Heavies, guess who's missing? That's right Robbie Barrett: Anthony Joshua.... Very intriguing... But wait. It gets better. Guess who's missing from the top 10 for every belt Joshua holds?? That's right Robbie Barrett: Deontay Wilder. Very odd that the 2 champions in the division, f4ck the lineal claim by Nandrolene, I mean Fury, are not rated by every sanctioning body in the sport. If Wilder was the No. 1 contender for say the WBO title, then the fight would go to purse bid with a 70/30 split for the champ. Same for the WBC belt.... What a farce it has all become.... This isn't about Wilder & AJ whom I'm convinced truly want to fight each other. It's about Finkel vs Hearn & Haymon vs Skipper. Loyalty before royalty right? Don't hold your breath waiting for this one to be signed at all. Simply won't happen or it would have by now. Wilder wouldn't take the 30% cut though. He's turning 40% down now and won't fight until he unfairly gets 50%. And AJ who brings in 80% of the money sure isn't going to take the lesser cut because that would be beyond stupid. So it still wouldn't work. Wilder is a deluded coward who keeps on getting what he asks for only to turn the offers down. He wanted a rematch clause even though it has never before been done in history with a huge A side fighter and a weak B side fighter. He wanted it on US soil. He got it. You know I'm a big Wilder fan BUT turning down $120 million is not a good luck. I hope whatever the plan is works out but I'm curious as to how much money Haymon actually wants. The 2 fight deal was there with the potential for a 3rd. Loyalty to Shrinkel goes out the window when it comes to numbers like that. And the sanctioning bodies, which shouldn't exist, are just as much to blame. Why would they rank a different champion and force a purse bid that ultimately loses them money? **** like this debacle is what hurts the sport of boxing Props for telling it like it is. Let's support boxing. Not nationality or race. Let's object to boxing politics, and encourage fights to happen for the right reasons.

They can't force other sanctioning bodies to act and they have no real power over each other. It would ruin fights rather than make fights.

And what do the WBO do? Nothing because he's not their champion! What you've proposed would actually prevent unifications. Yeah this guy is essentially saying Wildher should get 30% against Joshua. I mean he should but 25% is more fair because he's got only 1 belt. Unfortunately this won't happen because like he said sanctioning bodies don't rate other champions.

Your point is only partially right, While it is factually correct -the WBC have absolutely aided and abetted Wilder in his chronic ducking (not just Joshua but now they have no appetite for a fight with Whyte) - but still, this fight could have been made if Wilder wanted it on fair terms. People saying that if AJ wanted the fight all he has to do is overpay Wilder to get it, which is essentially what Wilder is banking on, that AJ won't want to be overcharged and Deontay can price himself out. People suggesting that it's AJ's fault because he won't massively overpay (he's already overpaying at 60/40) and go to 50/50, people saying this are ignoring historical precedent. The A side never needs to give 50/50 to a much smaller draw, much smaller name, that's why the terms A side and B side were coined. The real reason why this has not happened is what Barry Hearn nailed months ago. Simply put, staying unbeaten (notwithstanding his Fury loss) and holding the WBC belt hostage means more to Wilder than money. It's that simple. If you asked Wilder: "Would you get smashed in front of the whole world watching, for say $120,000,000.00?" His answer is, "no thanks, I got lots of money, and some people think I'm great." THAT, and that alone, is what we have boiled it down to. He is fortunate to be able to take this stance because he has help from a WBC willing to collude with him and assist his ducking. He's a phony, if ever boxing had one. All boxing fans should object to this, and not defend this guy and his handlers. It is pure irony when Wilder fans rejoice in his ducking. The orgs don't want their champs in others ratings. Not a good look to have their champ rated below the other orgs. The problem is Wilder. Stop the excuses. The problem is your momma... 🤪
