Seeing so many guys here praise Pulev, I have to wonder what people would be saying if it was a different HW fighter did it. Let's say Wilder. I don't think it would just be considered "weird" at that point in the eyes of many.
Thoughts?
And, for those who don't get the point, I think it was a disgusting move by Pulev. The woman said it strange and embarrassing. A lot of people praise him for it, but they wouldn't if it was certain other people.
I didn't support him. I spoke out against him when that event happened. Proof is in my post history. Ignorant little fuks like you don't care about the truth though. Your bytch ass just wants to heckle people because you can't hang in an actual discussion.
yea because a race baiting thread about someone kissing someone, and then saying BUT WHAT IF A BLACK MAN DID IT equates to 'an actual discussion' :lol1:
It's insidious ****, man, and aimed just as much at keeping your white population afraid and voting the way policy makers want (ie harsh law enforcement and a criminal justice system that amounts to a form of modern slavery). Governments around the world use similar tactics to control their populations and justify their existence... the double whammy of an external threat (it's been 'terrorism' for most of us since the fall of Communism) to justify arms spending and to convince the population that they need protecting and an internal underclass on which to blame domestic woes and justify internal repression, surveillance and control...
Ima a 'workers of the world unite' kinda dude and it strikes me that folk are gonna have to find a way to work out who the real enemy is and put aside the artificial divisions of colour and race to make progress, but just how you gonna untangle that ish in the particular conditions of the US I have no clue... you got some good people over there, but the divisions are deep.
EDIT: Damn, this is definitely boxing ish is it? Probably belongs in the lounge, but I try to steer clear of the political discussion in there cos it's a massive waste of time.
Same to the bold. Cheers.
Grow up......
Lol!!! I'm never wrong about this shyt. Some of you guys have this compulsive NEED to reply. I personally don't care that much about internet arguments, they're just amusing to me, so you go ahead and do your reply (because I know for a fact you are mentally not strong enough to resist) and I'll just leave it alone. I won't post back. Then you can't say I wasn't nice to you.
I couldn't care less that Pulev kissed a woman he knows. We live in a time where everyone gets upset over things that don't have **** to do with them instead of worrying about their own miserable lives.
Besides, that other poster already shut your thread down with the wilder beating up the woman post. I didn't know about that, and guess what, I don't give a fk to be honest.
So how triggered could I be lol.
You STILL can't let it go that you got clowned. THAT'S how triggered you are and it'll be proven when you reply to this post. :lol1:
You guys who are getting emotionally triggered over this need to take some midol and put in your pad. I never got worked up over this and I was smiling when I made the thread. Don't try to project your butthurt onto me just because the logical answer makes you angry.
Funny thing is, I never even said anything about race. I actually said "Wilder or Fury" when I originally typed it up because I was thinking more along the lines of polarizing figures than race but changed it because I didn't want to turn this into another Wilder vs Fury thread. People immediately locked onto the race thing though. Which is interesting. Not wrong, but interesting.

Pretty stupid example given that Wilder was charged with domestic assault but you have people like OP blindly supporting him...

People think that anyone who saw offense in what Pulev did must be either effeminate or a liberal. It is what is. Classless and vulgar. I guarantee you Clark Gable and James Cagney wouldn't have done it, unless there was obvious chemistry and they certainly wouldn't have done it on live TV, and they were the archetypal men back when women were dames and knew their place. I'm surprised a lot a of people are defending this dickhead move, because the masculine thing to do is to not let another man take liberties with your girlfriend/wife/sister/mother etc. Too much **** watching has eroded peoples sense of decency.
I love this observation. Your assumption is right as well. It perpetuates something called intergenerational trauma. It's not only in the US, either, it affects many indigenous colonized cultures as well.
Good post, my brother.

From my post above, and this is the god's honest;
Funny thing is, I never even said anything about race. I actually said "Wilder or Fury" when I originally typed it up because I was thinking more along the lines of polarizing figures than race...
I first thought about other names, but right now Wilder is the most polarizing and talked about figure in boxing at the moment, and I could see people having a strong reaction to him. If I wanted it to be a race thing, I would have chosen a brother who people don't hate. I would have made it "If Spence grabbed/kissed..."
THAT would be a race baiting thread. I'm not into starting those kinds of fires though. I don't like creating that kind of tension because it's destructive.
Good. I'm getting too old to start fires too. None of this shit interests me honestly.
I don't know if RedFoxx's angle started with race. You are right, I also don't see him as that kinda guy. He's not. Maybe some hypocrisy somewhere got him mad and triggered.

Doesn't he know the woman pretty well?
And why are your feelings hurt?
I never took you for the "if he were black" type but.................

Wilder literally strangled a woman, was arrested, never denied it took place, neither did his lawyers....he apologized to the lady and nothing happened.
Haha....well there ya go.... should I be outraged? Apparently so.....
Anyone celebrating any man kissing a woman without her consent has their own issues...but is there any subject that passes through nsb without someone whining about racism?
I mean there's worse **** that folk do, but anyone praising Pulev for that idiocy probably needs to think about how they'd feel if that was their daughter (or more likely their mom in the case of these dudes I'd imagine). Anyone who'd treat it differently (going in either direction) if it was a black dude doing it is racist pure and simple, but I ain't really qualified to speculate on the reaction in the US - ... I'd hope over here the majority reaction would be much the same whether it was a white or a black dude, though I'm sure there'd be some threatened *******s differentiating.
I mean what you're really ultimately asking is whether there's racism in the US, and of course, there is... if fact, if you'll forgive my observation on something in which really is the business of you and your fellow US citizens - it appears to me that systemic US racism is very much part of a deliberate policy of social control... divide and conquer if you will, a balance of fear and resentment carefully fostered over successive decades, not merely the accidental result of brutal historical circumstance.
