LAWRENCE OKOLIE sparked controversy by calling out Dillian Whyte on Twitter earlier this month. Okolie, 26, made a beeline for the heavyweight by tweeting: "I personally believe I would beat @DillianWhyte." That hypothesis didn't go down too well with Whyte, who responded by telling iFL TV: "He's a media wh**e, he's just trying to use my name to get some light on his career. He talks a lot of s**t and everyone hates him." Click Here To Read More]
Okolie vs the mentioned Riakporhe is pretty inevitable. They are same height, some simlarity in style and power, but of the two Riakporhe looks better balanced; more athletic, and more fluid, and uses his jab more effectively.
Okolie's reach is huge but he needs somone to teach him to use his jab as a weapon rather than a rangefinder, if he worked on his jab it would set his right up far better. Also get a conditioning coach to tighten him up as he looks a bit soft all over, his balance looks sketchy at times and he would get more upper body movement and speed with more conditioning. He can only survive so long on just having a power right hand, and I suspect Riakphore takes him right now.
Whyte’s savage comeback here made me laugh “and everyone hates him” hahaha.
Okolie is one of the few boxers who I can’t sit through an interview with. Dude is so dull. Fights similarly too.
So I take it you'll be watching when the real heavyweight champ of the world takes on his mandatory challenger may 18th? I'm not surprised. :cool2:

Agreed. I think its simply because Camacho picked up the Commonwealth title against Arfan Iqbal so theres's a belt at stake.
It's hard to like Okolie.
It's the personality he's quite arrogant but doesn't have the wit or charm to pull it off. Then you look at his bouts and his fighting style is terrible, effectively but horrific to watch.
This fight vs Camacho actually seems like a backwards or sideways step for Okolie, why has it been made? Is Camacho mandatory for the British title?

Okolie may be boring and have an ugly style but he's actually quite good and has crazy size at cruiser. Never heard of Camacho but he looks area-level and lost to Chamberlain. Okolie needs to KO him spectacularly.
