was it a good idea for big bro to allow the fight to go on and let mikey take unnecessary damage? i mean that corner was dead silent lol. during the fight when the camera points to gracia's corner, pita wasnt even looking at the fight anymore he wasnt looking the other way lmao!!!

No, there was no reason for it to go on past the 9th. They could have pulled him out even earlier when they realized that there was literally nothing he could do to avoid the inevitable beating that was coming on stronger every round.
Yadi yadah, Mikey suffered no permanent damage.
Mikey's knees did not even buckle.
Archie Moore took more beating in one round against Durelle than Mikey in his entire career.
Asks the one using expletives.
because you're acting like a lil biiatch homey! damm! i didnt even really go in on the garcia's and you're on here crying and shiiet. i just asked if it was a good idea to let mikey take those shots when it was clear that he's not gonna win or get a lucky one punch ko.
bruh, why the fvvvck are you so mad? so go make a thread making fun of manny then! jesus brah! wtf is wrong with you? is this pita? if it is, fvvck you!

Yawn.
They all talk big to promote the fight.
Freddie was predicting a KO win for Pac when he got KO'd.
Get over it.
If boxers today just take easy fights, they will never stiff greatness.
And I got news for you, losing is part of the game.
Good Lord.
No wonder UFC is gaining.

i believe it was after the 9th or 10th round when robert starts to panic and told mikey to start throwing everywhere, elbows, arms, etc. lol this is literally robert's plan b lol. he did the same with maidana.
When I use to train my nephew every time we fought a La Colina Boxer with Robert in the corner he beat them it’s to bad my nephew dislocated his shoulder
*slaps the hell out of your face* This is why top fighters dont take risk today. The boxing community is very dumb and ghetto.
It's getting there.
And they become geniuses after fights.
Pac opened a 3-1 underdog against ODH.
3-1 underdog against MAB in his first fight at 126.
I guess , Pac should have listened to this expert.
Ignore list might get another entree soon.
aww you mad? lol. i wouldnt have taken the fight, that's what i would have prolly done! HA! talk all that big game prior to the fight then loses all rounds and expect mofos to not say shiiet about it?

yes, the warrior's code is to take a beating for all 12 rounds for pride. *throws up in your face from all the shiiet i ate and drank last night*

Tell us what you would have done ?
Pita wanted to stop the fight. He was in near tears but it was Robert's call. He was the chief second .
Looking back, Robert made the right call.
Freddie and Buboy went silent on Pac too against JMM 3 in the late rounds. There was nothing working for Pac and they both gave up.

He wanted to stop it late but Mikey told him he was OK and to let the fight continue. I think he made the right call. He tried to stop it but Mikey said he was OK and don't stop it. He has to live with his brother and respect his wishes. This way no KO loss is on Mikey's record.
of course the fighter will 99.9% of the time says he's ok to continue. it's the trainer's job to know this. that's why the trainer is there. so if mikey suffer permanent damage, how will robert live with this since they're brothers? health > pride
i believe it was after the 9th or 10th round when robert starts to panic and told mikey to start throwing everywhere, elbows, arms, etc. lol this is literally robert's plan b lol. he did the same with maidana.

Robert Garcia is not the great trainer everyone makes him to be

Alot of people including myself thought Robert was going to jump the gun and stop the fight to early maybe he felt that pressure.
My feeling exactly
Was worried about that also
Mikey didn’t take that much punishment , I’ve witnessed worst
It probably should have been stopped during round 9 but after he survived that he didn't take too much more punishment and it definitely looks better to have gone 12 than be TKO'd so I think they made the right decision.
