He refused to comment until after Tuesday press conference.
But it sounded like Wilder hasn't taken the dazn deal.
Eddie hearn says he will have alot to say on Tuesday when everything is confirmed.
You ever bought a house, car, anything in life? Before you get a contract, an offer has to be accepted. If the contract arrives, and it's not satisfactory, then addendums can be made. Go buy something, that requires an agreement between you and someone else, then get back to me.
Making a boxing match is not the same as buying a house, the context is not remotely similar
****ing hell
In sport match ups you negotiate and draw
Up a contract, when an opening offer sounds good, you send the full stills
This is pointless, it’s been exposed team wilder never wanted it
Let’s look at some quotes
Wilder and his master Shirley- you need to let this fight marinate
Shirley- wilder is still a baby, no rush to
Joshua
Shirley - imagine what the
Offer will be next year
Wilder- this fight can only be made if both teams sit down and negotiate-‘proving their one line email offer and social media offer was rubbish and a way for them to duck the fight, proving when they stated earlier they don’t want to meet Joshua by refusing to turn up to negotiate was a way of ducking them
The boxing world has woken up and sees it for what is, wilder never wanted it but was scared of the reputation damage of ducking but now he has been forced to duck Joshua
Only a handful
Of dickriders
Remain like you who refuse to see the truth
Deal with it, 90 percent of the community thinks wilder has ducked Joshua,
It’s over
Are you stupid ? Like seriously, your blind ignorance and fan boy following of wilder is making you look like a retard
Unless you were raised by retards to become one? Which is it ?
You cannot accept any offer without a contract, first the contract is sent of the offer with the details, as there are many aspects to resolve for a huge boxing fight, Refs, judges, ring walk, media work and so on
My god you are thick as bricks you worthless ghetto trash
Everyone can see wilder has avoided this fight
From sending the 50m offer from his personal email in one paragraph, to refusing to send a contract when Joshua was interested, to refusing to sign the contract Joshua sent and crying to the media instead with fake news
To refusing to meet to negotiate, to refusing to respond, to admitting to having no interest in the fight and to what we have here, 100m refused confirming the duck
Only one person has tried to make the fight and it’s joshua

It's significant that you think it's significant.
He got a 4m guarantee for his biggest fight.
THAT's significant.
Well if the story ended there then sure. But it didn’t. I was talking viewership which isn’t always commiserate with purse.
I did. Again, Wilder is the biggest US star in the biggest market. Certainly you can downplay what it means, but with guys like Crawford, Broner, Spence, Thurman, etc. -- it's significant. And it's fact.

Why not post the numbers for the two guys you say make a strong case? Go as far back as you would like. Take the average # for each and then get back to me. We don't need to guess.

lol no one uses peak numbers. The average is what matters for people who actually view an event. and even if we took the absolute peaks it still wouldn't be 2.5 million.
Spence had a 6million rating in the past, that's already enough to compete with Wilder.
In any case, the point is that Wilder isn't doing great numbers. I mean, 600k for a WBC heavyweight champ, KO specialist's defense. that's absolutely appalling numbers.

Look at the peaks for those numbers as that is indicative of the main event. Take the average of that and then compare it to Broner and Spence. Who comes out on top? Not even close, as I said.

I struggle to see an average of 2.5 million :lol1:
Look at the opening line of the Washington report:
Even with an upward trend in the final ratings, Deontay Wilder's latest ring appearance barely left a blip on the mainstream radar.
Right, ESPN's "famous 100 list" had Deontay Wilder as more famous than Luis Suarez and Sergio Ramos too, and guys like Russell Westbrook and Odell Beckham jr :lol1:
That list you can take and throw it straight in the trash.
Look at the peaks for those numbers as that is indicative of the main event. Take the average of that and then compare it to Broner and Spence. Who comes out on top? Not even close, as I said.
Actually, Wilder's averaged about 2.5 million in viewers off PPV since Stiverne 1. That's significantly higher than anyone. Wilder has been fighting on network TV for a long time.
Spence's guarantee was lower than Wilder's for his first PPV although we don't know what he'll get in total--I doubt it'll be $14m like Wilder.
Finally, Wilder's star power is growing by the day. It's not a coincidence he was the highest rated boxer on ESPN's Fame 100 list. Or that he's had the highest rated shows on Showtime. Or that he's the only fighter that was brought back to FOX/NBC before the licensing deals were done. And the proof is in the pudding. Outside offers keep getting higher and higher. We'll see where he stands soon enough, if there is any doubt.

I believe his highest gate was 2.1 million vs Ortiz? Couldn't find the numbers for the Fury fight. Against Stiverne it was less than a million.
Broner had a 6million gate last time, but of course that was against Pacquiao.
Spence's numbers vs Garcia seem to be trending a lot higher than Wilder's vs Fury.
Wilder had a few OK numbers on Showtime, just north of a million sometimes incl against Ortiz. but he also had some stinkers as a champion like 600k vs Molina and 500k vs Szpilka. Pretty abysmal I'd say.
Pretty similar numbers that GGG did on HBO when people said he wasn't known in the states.
He did 2.2 million on free, but then again Spence did 6million on free once.
So I remain steady. there's a case to be made, also considering Spence just had a similar guarantee to Wilder's last guarantee. When you then consider Spence doesn't have a promotional or managerial agreement, and Wilder has like 4, then it's very clear at least who's doing the better job.
Even if he was the biggest U.S star, it doesn't really mean much as he's really not generating anything noteworthy.

I don’t think so. He’s averaged the highest viewership ratings overall over the past few years. Since he won the title, really. Same goes for gate.

He may be the biggest U.S star, but it's debatable as his numbers are totally average, even in his biggest fight. And it's really not saying much in the current market climate - he got a 4m guarantee on his biggest night.
Depending on the numbers we see from this weekend's fight, it could be argued that either Broner or Spence is the biggest U.S draw.

lol@ people calling wilders advisors "idiots"...lol....they are some of the most successful advisors the sport has ever seen but we got a bunch of nobodies on an internet forum trying to tell me theyre idiots....u cant make this stuff up
Finkel is successful.
How about his ex fighters? Still got their millions?
You’re right, I forgot to add US star. But yes, he is.

Without question Deontay is the biggest US boxing star in America today. Now that everyone is coming to the US, that will become all the more clear (in case it isn't already).
That's not what you said.
As I said, writing is fundamental.

The biggest star? Ehm, in what world?
Certainly not this one. His biggest event sold 250k homes and couldn’t fill a medium sized arena.
They are OVERPAYING Wilder, but he has idiot advisors that’ll make sure he leaves the sport broke. And on top of that he’s insanely unintelligent.
there's literally no difference between these ldbc fanboys and far right/far left politics ppl. experts at twisting facts
Yes you literally said he is the biggest star in the biggest market. that is not correct.
