He's getting paid more for a Spence fight and if he loses he has an excuse. That's why he took the fight.

Perhaps spence hasn't really fought guy like Mikey, I still don't see a way Mikey wins. Was he seeing what loma was doing and wanted to prove he can do the same?I pay attention to fight night weights when they give them and Spense's fight night weight was given as 156 pounds by Showtime for his last fight. That is the fight night weight of an average welterweight not a light middleweight like Lara or Jermell who weigh 168 on fight night. With his bulk up program Mikey says he will weigh 155 on fight night so there won't be much weight difference between Spence and Mikey in the ring. I expect Spence to knock him out because he hits so much harder and takes a punch so much better. Mikey is fighting Spence to try to prove he is the best in the world PFP but it will backfire on him.

People keep talking about a Loma fight but Mikey went through alot to get away from Top Rank. To fight Loma, he has to go through Arum again which comes with options on him. Regarding this matchup, Loma beats Mikey. The hate those to have for each other is what stopped that fight.Arum feeels like he lost a ton of money because of Mikey and Mikey feels he lost both time and money.Arum said Mikey and team is impossible to deal with.He will make the fight but he will make Mikey eat **** first.There is no way Mikey will put up with it.
