why do fighters have to switch trainers with a loss or a tough fight?
I was just thinking whether Roach suits his style better and had him looking better. But as you say it could just be this opponent or his skill ceiling.
Roach trained Ramirez and knows him well so he gave Zepeda all the tips and came up with the perfect plan.
Ramirez is what he is. He is just a high volume fighter who fights off youthful energy. He isnt that skilled.
Ramirez reminds me of Juan Diaz. He wont last long as champion. He is too flawed and most elite fighters will exploit him.
He should stay with Robert Garcia, but he needs to learn to move his head, he fights too straight, that's one reason Zepeda was hitting him clean.
He had problems with Zepeda southpaw style.
He is not ready for the big sharks yet.
Big sharks?
All the other champions at the weight are not fighting with great rivals.
Zepeda is better than Postol right now.
And what's the big win of Prograis?
Zepeda is pretty good
he's undersized tho
belongs at 135
Yeah, but he always had problems with the weight and discipline , he can't mark that weight.
And he has naturally problems with his stamina.

Did he look better with Freddie in his corner? Or was Zapeda better than we thought? Or is Ramirez not that good.
Weigh in below.
Zepeda is a very good fighter.
He was the #1 sparring of Floyd in the training camp to fight Pacquiao.
