£19.3 million(25 million dollars) big baby £5.4 million (7 million dollars)
Joshua will receive a monster payday from his first fight on US soil, pocketing £19.3million.
Miller will bank £5.41m for his participation as the American welcomes Joshua to his backyard at Madison Square Garden. DAZN will broadcast the fight, with Hearn, Joshua and Matchroom already signed to the streaming giant.
Done people will find fault in anything Joshua does.
It's a big fight. Could even be a decent fight. He's going to the US.
If Fury and Wilder are set on fighting each other, what exactly do you want him to do in his VOLUNTARY defence?
Hearn fleecing dazn
And he probably gets bigger % cut off miller's purse compared to Joshua's so he probably has an interest in miller getting a big purse
It is to me i respect your opinion though lol. He should have fought Luis Ortiz. It should be Joshua vs Ortiz and Wilder vs Fury then two winners meet up. Miller should be fighting somebody like Pulev.
Ortiz already has a fight lined up. Let’s see if aj destroys miller in one round
Good post, I know I was watching boxing way before Lewis .Everyone said he was trash and boring , sound familiar? Ha
How good is AJ ?Well that's an easy assumptions of past gold medalist.
Patterson , Ali, Foreman , Holyfieid was robbed, Lewis , ,Klitschko, Usyk, Joyce was robbed also, all suggest he's the goods as they were and are dominant fighters of their era. I added Joyce because I rate him by what I see which is a serious threat. AJ has all the tools to go undefeated . One thing that separates him is mind set , Lewis was arrogant and it cost him twice. AJ is no Lewis ,he's as focused as I've seen in any fighter ever.
The Olympics is a good indicator. I would rather see him fight everyone and take a loss or, two if he has to do so. I know Chisora never made it to the top, but I think he did well for his level of ability simply because he fought all commers and had experience in big fights because of it.
Joshua on paper should have an easy fight, but Big Baby is huge, fit, has good stamina, kick-boxing experience, and his aerobic conditioning seems to be better than many heavyweights. Add in he likes to be busy and coming forward. AJ is a major test for him, but I think Jarrell Miller might be up to the challenge. He may even upset the odds.
If he doesn't, he is still rather new in the division. He will have time to come back better.
I think this fight will be better than expected. We may even get a surprise. :boxing:
Very good post but we all know no matter what Joshua will not get credit just like all his opponents have now showed they are closer to Wilders level actually. Ha
Just the recent examples of Kownacki almost was defeated by Martin. there were a few wilder fans on here saying it would be a good scrap with Kownacki and Wilder until I reminded them that Martin fought AJ and was beat in two and Whyte getting a win over Parker but was a bum until then. the same will happen with Miller I bet who would be wilders second best win . Joshua will make it look easy I think but then he cherry picked ,well on this forums logic.
Ya know Redeemer... Epistemology is inherently conservative. if I asked most people to guess when Modern philosophy started...Im guessing they would not suspect the mid 1700's. Science can barely accept that there is water in other places, what scientist part of the establishment would know if something was found on Mars that was not a rock formation? If we actually are on Mars? I doubt they could accept it. Cognitive discordance would be the order of the day...
Boxing has its own knowledge base and not a few years back people were saying "He has no chin, he is weak, He will get knocked out! And this was after Lewis knocked out a whole bunch of guys. It took the twilight of his career for lewis to get any acknowledgement from the fans... And for those who think this is because Lewis was not American, talk to Larry Holmes about the process of coming up after Ali and how long it took for people to even think of him as a good fighter, much less a great one.
How good is Joshua? hard to tell right now but part of the strength of a fighter is how they cope with the casual fans and their renumerations. jack Johnson had some of the best penmen of his generation pulling against him. Jack London, socialist, The everyman strevedore with a heart of gold and a spot for the fellow worker at the beck and call of management, followed Johnson around and taunted him. The man who wrote novels of protest for animals (Call of the Wild, etc) and socialist dogma for the working stiff had a problem with a black man beating up white guys in the ring...It makes no sense to ask why.
Joshua should just become the quiet assassin he needs to be, shut up the louts like Miller.
Not even close. Miller is arguably a top 5-7 heavyweight contender while the guy Davis is fighting is a virtual nobody.
It’s a bad fight to me not as bad as GD fight but still bad. I don’t care what he’s ranked he hasn’t earned a title shot.
the guy Davis is fighting is a virtual nobody
Miller is also a nobody with a loud mouth in my opinion.
Side note that guy Ruiz has a lot of KOs and Tank maybe weight drained, he mite get dropped tonight lol
Lol nice try it’s not in the same league as that. Many prefer this to a Dillian Whyte fight. Who would you have him fight considering those who already have opponents lined up

This fight is just as bad as Gervonta fight tonight. How tf did Miller earn a title shot and who tf wants to see this. Its going to be boring

Overpayed for Big Baby big time but Big Baby played this so perfectly, he basically kinda FORCED them to pay him big money because he knows they need an American Dance Partner to make his American Debut :dunno:
So congrats to Big Baby! Well Played!

I think Whyte was offered at least 7 million and turned it down. Miller wants that fight more than Whyte does. I give Miller a chance to win. he has fast hands and averages throwing well over twice as many punches a round as AJ. He has never been hurt so his chin seems solid. He can punch hard with both hands.
