No way Alvarez isn't juiced to the gills, I know it's probable most fighters do it but come on. Before the first fight, no boxing media in the world seen Alvarez as having great power, just okayish power, now all of a sudden he's a one punch knock out artist. People that know my post know I don't like Kovalev at all but I have to keep it real. No way that guy isn't on something. Just turned 33/34 and now you become a power puncher. Something isn't right.
Good point, Sir. The commentator mentioned this as a matter of fact - apparently he doesn't have 2 knuckles on his right hand and can't even make a fist of it normally. I can imagine this must be so hard to live with as a professional boxer and for him to do this well is something else.
Didn’t realize they mentioned it. Thanks!
And yeah, it’s like if usain bolt lost a couple toes lol
You tried to sound smart and it failed. If a guy more than likely beat up and knocked out a woman, I don't have to like him, it is what it is. I never said anything about his ability in the ring.
Good reply, I didn't like that post...of course if someone is a debatable human that can affect your opinion of him...these Eastern Euros still extremely butt hurt over Ward

I think.Josh Warrington is a much more obvious example of what you're talking about...I know he didn't stop either Selby or Frampton, but he regularly shook them up over 12 rounds, both of which had shown solid chins through their careers. Also looking really fresh after both fights...
Alvarez could be the same, but Kovalev has shown some vulnerability too, I don't think it would take a dynamite puncher to stop him
Alvarez had hand injuries so bad that his right hand is permanently deformed.

... OK, you don't like Kovalev at all -- I may guess that you don't like his "persona"... But don't you like boxing at all???... because it's boxing that we are watching, not "personas"... :)
... now tell please me that you rather like Ward's "clean boxing"... :)
I'll tell you. Ward is a clean boxer. It's just that whiners like you don't think so when your man loses. Just take in the fact that Kov put on a show and stfu and stop using Ward cry baby examples. Lol

Kov put on a show and used his jab, father hands, and body shots to keep Alvarez at bay. He took some shots, looked in shape, and rescued his career. What's most impressive is that he Simon Browned Alvarez. Brown brutally kod Norris and Norris put on a show in the rematch. I never liked Norris but it was impressive to win a rematch after being brutally kod.

Ward has always had Mayweather esque power. He has good power in his left hook and had okay power in his right hand and that was brought up to above average when he had right shoulder surgery. Not to mention Ward put money in the bank. Kovalev won, but in Alvarez previous fights against lesser opposition his right hands don't do nearly the same damage. I hate accusing fighters of this ish and typically ignore it, but just because I don't like a guy doesn't mean I can't point out what I see.
Sometimes a fighter , even one with an iron chin gets hit just right and he's down. When Holyfield knocked Mercer down I was shocked but then again its sure that Holyfield was on something.

People who followed Alvarez know that He was always good puncher - just not great finisher. He happend to get Kovalev out of there in first fight, but it showed again in second fight. Just doesn't follow up on his offence.
Eh, fair point...do you really think Paul Williams beat Lara btw? Please say no..

Don't know if he's on something or not but the problem was Kovalev and his training. Ward hurt him badly with that right hand in the second fight and he's not known as a power puncher.

He's not on something. Once linking up with Anber at the gym in Montreal they chanced his entire technique. Alvarez had hand injuries so bad that his right hand is permanently deformed. Switched up his style and suddenly he KO's Bute & Kovalev. Now he's far more intimidating because before he would just outbox you.
