I see a lot of people criticising Crawford’s resume, suggesting he’s never fought anyone of note abs has always had it easy. That’s utter nonsense. He’s had some tough tests and always passed them with flying colours and has generally fought the best opposition available whilst passing through divisions.
Crawford’s resume broken down in context:
Mar 2013. Briedis Prescott UD 10.
Despite being a relatively unknown prospect, Crawfotd jumped up in weight and on late notice took a major step up in class against 140lb contender Prescott. Crawford dominated all ten rounds winning in impressive fashion.
Mar 2014. Ricky Burns UD 12. To win his first title Crawford went into the lions den in Glasgow against two weight (now three weight) world champion Ricky Burns. Crawford comfortably beat Burns over 12 rounds. Whilst Burns isn’t an elite fighter he was a solid world champion. Errol Spence rightfully gets credit for going on the road and dethroning Kell Brook, and Burns has a far greater resume than Brook, so Crawford’s win over Burns undoubtedly deserves acclaim.
Jun 2014. Yuriorkis Gamboa TKO 9.
Gamboa was an undefeated former unified featherweight champion, who had also held interim world titles at 130 and 135, he was generally regarded as an elite fighter but also viewed as very undersized for Lightweight. Crawford was only a slight favourite (-166 Vegas odds) heading into the bout. Crawford had some trouble early on but dropped Gamboa several time on route to an impressive stoppage victory.
Nov 2014. Raymundo Beltran UD 12. Beltran is by no means an elite fighter but he was the rings #2 rated lightweight behind Crawford who was #1 Crawford dominated all twelve rounds becoming the lineal champion at 135.
2015-17. Cleaning up 140. Various wins.
140 was hardly murderers row but Crawford still picked up impressive wins on route to completely unifying the division. His most impressive victory came against Viktor Postol. He and Postol were the clear 1 and 2 in the division and Crawford dropped and decisioned Postol in a dominant victory picking up his the WBO/WBC and lineal title at 140. He went to become undisputed champion by destroying the limited yet dangerous WBA/IBF champ Julius Indongo in 3 rounds. Other impressive performances included stoppage wins over Olympic Gold medalist Felix Diaz and contenders Thomas Dulorme, John Molina and Hank Lundy.
July 2018. Jeff Horn. TKO 9.
Pacquiao fanatics may disagree but Horn legitimately beat Manny IMO. Regardless of the decision it was clearly a close and competitive fight establishing Horn as a top fighter at 147. Crawford had no problems dealing with Horn controlling every round before stopping him in the 9th round to become a three weight world champion.
Crawford clearly has an adequate resume, with various solid wins, a few quality wins and many impressive performances.
Hopefully this gives the people sh**ing on Crawford’s resume some perspective, and if you still want to sh** on his resume you evidently DKSAB.
Broner has face porter, maidana, garcia all of them are better than crawford opponent and if crawford beat or atleast face that kind of opponent then i will agree with u that his resume is better.
You don't get credit for losing, especially lopsided losses where you quit(Porter, Garcia)
--- Indeed, he massively bigger, stronger and younger than PAC coming off shoulder surgery started strong with able assistance from the ref.
CompuFraud a running joke used as a crutch for vacuous announcers no better than judges on the take.
PAC busted him up good and the fans see this in the same light as when he smashed Bradley I so hard the guy ended up in a wheelchair.
Why don't you shut up and email Arum/Haymon to make their fights? He ain't winning any more accolades fighting Khan than Canelo did, but at lest Canelo made big $. Bud makes squat because the greater public know Boner better than Bud.
He's currently near #1 if not the one in rankings, so what are really moaning about?
You seem to have little English comprehension, don’t really know what point you’re trying to make...
Pac-Horn is not comparable to Pac-Bradley 1. Pac-Bradley 1 was a blatant robbery whilst Pac-Horn was an extremely close fight. Using the referee is just an EXCUSE. Horn won UNANIMOUSLY in the eyes of the 3 international judges. Stop crying robbery.
It’s completely besides the point anyway as regardless of how you scored it, Horn proved an incredibly difficult opponent for Manny Pacquiao while Crawford dominated him.
Anyway, I’ll go “email Al and Bob” cause that is completely plausible you absolute imbecile😂😂
Compubox is nonsense, it’s just people counting punches and pressing buttons. There’s no validity to their figures. Punch counting is very much irrelevant in professional boxing anyway tbh.
I have no problem with people scoring it for Pac but it was definitely a close and tough fight for both. I thought Horn outhustled him in a lot of rounds, his somewhat dirty, roughhouse tactics were very effective and he physically bullied Manny at times.

A loaded 147 division over at PBC not where hes at. He wont be fighting any of those top 147 fighters any time soon.
Those fight can happen but it won't be CHEAP for Bob Arum and ESPN thought especially Arum continuing to sh#t about Haymon! I really don't see how that helps the situation! Also HUGE MISTAKE giving Khan a rumored $5 Million because now it drives up everybody else price to come and fight Crawford so that could backfire big time and make things even more difficult. ESPN and Bob are going to have to pay up to get Top Level fights for Crawford it is no way around it.
But outside of PBC I like Kerman Lejarraga the boxer from Spain A LOT...
reminds me A LOT Antonio Margarito (well minus the plaster of paris cheating stuff) and he is very dangerous with that power. Lou DiBella who is his promoter said he just did a deal with ESPN/ESPN+ for him and he could be a future opponent for Crawford. ESPN need to showcase him and build him up, he is drawing HUGE Crowds in Spain on his own
Postol's will over Matthysee is better than any on Broner's resume.

Yeah it's not great...BUT the man is in his PRIME as a fighter and he is just getting started so in a loaded 147 Division he will have a chance to improve his resume big time. Khan is a SOLID start even though we know he is going to destroy Khan.
Crawford wasn't even suppose to make it this far, he wasn't a highly touted prospect or anything. I think Mikey Garcia had to tell Cameron Dunkin about him because he remembered him from the Amateurs. Before that Crawford was just Floating around and was mostly a good Sparring Partner. I remember Timothy Bradley talked about this as well. So for him to now be one of the best P4P in the world is a Great STORY because he didn't get the Red Carpet Treatment as a prospect like Spence Jr and some of the other fighters
Great point...
Bud has never had it easy like some try to suggest.
His resume is softer than baby poop. 31 years old and his best win is a blown up gamboa. You can write as many paragraphs as you want about his weak asss opposition but that will never change the fact that his resume is trash. Danny garcia and Keith thurman are both younger than crawford and both their resumes absolutely ***** all over this fraud asss champs resume.
Embarrassing...
GTFOH with that BS.
YDKSAB...
If crawford has beaten atleast one quality opponent then i would agree with u that his resume is better than broner.
Postol's will over Matthysee is better than any on Broner's resume.
Broner hasn't beaten a single quality fighter at 140 or 147. His best win is a split decision against a shot paulie and John Molina who Crawford beat the **** out of.

And he offered Khan 5M$ completely low balling danny a guy who has done more in boxing than amir and has a KO win over amir. Literally the only leverage amir has is his UK audience thats it but danny packs the barclays himself.
Khan is offered more because his name is a bigger draw than Garcia. He brings the U.K. money in--which is considerably more than Danny filling Barclay's. Khan is more globally recognized.

Arum recently tried to get Crawford a PPV fight with Danny Garcia. They offered Garcia $3M plus a slice of the PPV revenue. He turned it down. Consider Garcia only earned $1.2M for Porter and $2M for Thurman, and he was offered as much or more than he has earned in his last two fights. Coming off a loss, I don't know where he thinks he will be given a better offer.

I think you have it the other way around Sir. Bob arum is keeping crawford away from PBC fighters. He'll continue feeding terrence his top rank diet of mediocre fighters, hell mediocre is being generous wasnt jose benavidez ranked like top 35? lmao

Certainly not a great resume, but PBC has kept their biggest names away from him. No Broner at 140, and no one at 147 under Haymon appears to be in a big hurry to fight him either. Crawford passes the eyeball test though, same way Larry Holmes had the skill and ability to compete and win at a higher level, but he didn't have the opponents during his era to build his name.
