I wouldn't have believed that I'd be saying this a year or 2 ago, but I think Whyte KO's Ortiz. Whyte has come a long way and Ortiz doesn't look like the same dude that ran through Jennings and that I saw fight live against Tony Thompson. He looks slow and sluggish now and we know stamina is a real issue for him. I think Whyte fights patiently for the first 6 rounds then stops on the gas and stops Ortiz late
Agreed.
Whyte would win that one.
Would be a good fight for a few online boxing nerds.
Us c.unts would love that fight, lol.
We’d discuss it for f.ucking years
Joshua-Whyte 2 is fine imo, sure he lost pretty decisively the first time around but he's had a really strong campaign in 2018. I don't like him all that much but I still can't deny it. Either Whyte or Miller, either is fine by me. Sure I spent a lot of time talking smack about Joshua for failing to come to terms with Wilder in 2018 but I'm not going to hold it against him if he chooses to fight either one of those guys now seeing as Wilder and Fury are likely going to be unavailable for the foreseeable future - at least so long as he's prepared to fight the winner of that fight once it's happened.
Your arguments are nonsense. Boxers matchup differently all the time. Who beat or didn't beat who doesn't guarantee anything. Adults know this ... And a real champ takes on all comers. There is no such thing as "deserving" a shot. Whether anyone likes/respects a boxers record or opponents means nothing when they are bouncing jabs off your head.
Ortiz has a single loss and a world-class amateur record and background, coupled with a career-long high percentage of knockouts and impressive fights. That is more than enough.
And no, I'm not gonna waste time debating what is or is not impressive to you.
:bottle:
going by your stupid logic and senseless comments, Washington, spilka and arreloa can as well come out from no where to demand a title shot since they don't need to deserve it to get a shot.
Now go back to your cave. You know nothing about boxing.
What other prove do you need. Even an unskilled wilder KTFO.
What else do you want bro?

No aj’s promoter didn’t have Ortiz when he was mandatory. Ortiz left Hearn in March of 2017 and aj didn’t win the wba belt until April.
I stand corrected (thanks), but what I was saying is that Hearn/AJ could have easily made that fight. It would have been big even then, but ...
i didnt read the rest of your garbage thread. ortiz has fought bums ever since getting knocked out and is getting older by the day, plus it makes nowhere near as much money as whyte. And if/when he beat ortiz people would just say hes old and been stopped already, which are both true. he wouldnt get any credit for beating him and he wouildnt get paid much so why bother
Here is your country's sport, f@ggot

Whyte vs Joshua match wasn't a title fight. If you are that concerned about Ortiz , you should've tweeted him and asked why he jumped off his WBA mandatory spot which split the AJ fight up bc Ortiz thinking he would defeat the easier Wilder.
You guys act like women on here like Wilder himself so here's to another year of it! :burnout:
I like Joshua and Wilder

Whyte sucks dick, just like DramaShow
I watched the fight live and did enjoy it. I haven't rewatched it yet, but this is how I remember the fight.
R1 Joshua completely dominated and almost knocked Whyte out. Whyte lost his mind at the end of the round and nearly whacked the referee with a wild swing. Joshua round big
R2 Whyte rocked Joshua hard, but couldn't follow up. Whyte round big
R3 Whyte round narrow.
R4, R5, R6, R7 All clear Joshua rounds. Rematch would be similar imo.
Right so let's do something else
That was it. Then he knocked him out brutally in the 7th.
Wtf kind of unnecessary rematch is that!? 2019 sucks dick right off the bat.

It's hard to say Whyte doesn't deserve a shot. Outside of the top 3, he has proven the most by far in the last year of being worthy of title shots.
It's not the fight anyone wants really, but it's understandable that he gets a shot if Wilder v Fury rematch.
The problem is that Hearn has been angling for this in-house fight for ages and whatever he says in public, he wants to make this fight more than the Wilder fight. That's what bothers people. I don't think anyone says Whyte is undeserving, it's just them prioritising this fight.
I have no complaints with anyone fighting Whyte, he is always gonna bring some dog to the fight. And he'll fight anyone not named Ortiz or Big Baby. :boxing:
Joshua said he wants these fights:
Wilder
Fury
Ortiz
Whyte
Miller
I’m not going to complain if he takes on two of those five by end of year although obviously I would prefer one of them be for all the Belts! Whyte has proven with his wins he is right up there, Wilder didn’t want to take the risk with him for a reason.
Respect to this answer. For the "ortiz ain't worthy" crowd, even AJ "says" he's on the worthy contenders list. If AJ himself sees that Ortiz is worthy, why y'all wasting everyones time with those nonsense arguments?
Call me crazy but I think it's possible that Whyte could cause an upset, that left hook puts people to sleep and he's improved since the first fight.
Don't get me wrong, AJ would be a heavy favourite but I think Whytes a bigger threat than old man Ortiz & fat boy Miller.
Pulev should have just taken his beating really. Lots of money in a Joshua beating. Jennings will just out point him for less money.
Yep, he done ****ed up big time cuz he was scared ****less he was gonna leave in a body bag

I agree Whyte has done enough to earn a title shot. More than most.
I think this is highly likely, though Jennings still has to come through Rivas in a couple weeks. When Arum signed Pulev, I figured he just wanted his piece of the pie when Pulev gets the mando called, but then he said some bull**** like, Pulev needs a real test so that when he gets the Joshua shot he'll be prepared. There's logic to that, but how often do promoters actually do stuff like that? Also going out of his way to say Pulev would NOT fight Joshua on 04/13 was weird to me.
I think Arum basically looked at Pulev and saw a very beatable dude in a mandatory position and signed him just to put him in with one of his guys to steal that mandatory spot and AJ pay day. Jennings is the most likely beneficiary of this. Smart move by Arum, but another dumb move by Pulev, who has made a ton of them since the Klitschko fight.

I wonder if Arum makes Jennings vs Pulev. Pulev is deathly afraid of Joshua.
