Im scared for the Charlo boys, where do they go from here. Those cubs have been thoroughly exposed. It's a shame that they havnt got a good name on their resume between them at this point, i just hope they don't get back on the coke. Renold Quinlan would maybe be a good name on either of their resumes right now for a comeback fight??
Can anyone else think of some low level bums they could fight over the next couple of years to make them feel like lions again!??
I hope Jermall Charlo does land one of the big fights now after shaky performance. If GGG doesn't take the WBC Eliminator with him then it is likely Hassan N'Dam now after beating Martin Murray which I'm not crazy about but that is the pecking order of the WEIRD WBC Rankings basically. Like Korobov, N'Dam is underrated and TOUGH and could be a tough match up stylistically. N'Dam 2 year WBC banned for fighting in the Olympics I think is over now. If Jacobs doesn't get Canelo in May then he should go back to PBC and make this one now at Barclays next!
As for Jermell, kinda have to play the waiting game, does the WBC order a instant rematch which is very possible given the controversy. If not then he will need 1-2 fights vs other WBC Contenders to get back up into Mandatory Spot.
Tony Harrison is somewhat in the driver seat, he can go get his rematch vs Hurd in a unification bout for A LOT OF MONEY instead of doing the rematch. Honestly, I think that is the smarter move, go get the money with Hurd in a unification bout/rematch. He was out-boxing Hurd as well until his Stamina failed him.
But I think Immediate rematch between Tony Harrison vs Jermell Charlo will be ordered and rightfully so. So While Hurd fights J Rock somewhere in Maryland, Charlo vs Harrison rematch can happen and the winners go on to unify
Obviously they need immediate rematches to fix this shieet they pulled.
They also need to learn a simple lesson. Not every opponent can be KO'd with simple head hunting.
Some KO's you work hard for. You work the body hard and keep constant pressure and punishment on the opponent until they break down.
This is why I rate Spence over them. Spence knows this instinctively. One would think Jermell, in fact both brothers would have learned this lesson when they fought Trout, but no, clearly they didn't.
Charlo (154) vs Harrison 2 in Detroit
Charlo (160) in the WBC eliminator , maybe #3 Szeremeta winner get a shot at Canelo in Dec of 2019
Ohhh if they put that in Detroit, I’m going.
They are not as good as they claimed to be but they are not as bad as you are saying they are and they both have some decent wins over fighters who were not bums.
