It's just a lot harder to be a false, media-trained version of yourself while commentating on real time events. He has no script to follow. He even tried to be, he kept saying he had it even. Even when facing Whyte he wanted the crowd to clap for Whyte and Chisora lol. His media training works for him as the public sees him as one of them. I like when he got Hearn booed again doe. He shouldn’t do commentary, his voice is too soothing and the way he speaks puts me to sleep. OTOH,Paulie's screaming gives nightmares.

Another thing i don't get is why do Sky have handheld microphones for commentary, like it's 1962. Can't they get a mic on a headset like everyone else. I'd get tired of holding the mic up to my mouth for hours.

that's just how he is. When he did guest commentary last weekend with SRL he just rambled on and on about wanting to wear tassels and have flair, with Ray being to oblivious to really do anything.

he was fine, he just shared a line with haye and froch in the toilets beforehand, no biggie.
