Sources: Jarrell Miller could fight Joey Dawejko on Friday on DAZN, but no deal yet. Dawejko asking for more money. At this late stage, still possible Big Baby doesn’t fight at all Friday— Mike Coppinger (@MikeCoppinger) January 15, 2019
I wonder where he ends up... 147 or 154? They have nothing to offer at light middle at Top Rank.
That's the biggest problem with this sport. Too many promoters not risking their guys unless they control the opponent or the conditions. I get that it's a business but as fans we want the best fights. Very frustrating!
I feel the same way about Adames. He is only 24 years old but the opposition has been weak. Would like to see him crush this guy Ruiz early!

Oh yeah that's worth $60. I think Arum could do more with Adames.

They are mostly prospects but 60$ to sit first row behind the ringside media. You can't beat Turning Stone for their prices. Great venue for boxing with a few good restaurants on site.

This isn't very good either

Glad I bought tickets to Jennings/Rivas which is the same night. Looks like a decent card at Turning Stone.
Bryant Jennings vs. Oscar Rivas, 12 rounds, heavyweights
Shakur Stevenson vs. Jessie Cris Rosales, 10 rounds, featherweights
Jason Sosa vs. Moises Delgadillo, 8 or 10 rounds, lightweights
Carlos Adames vs. Juan Ruiz, 8 or 10 rounds, junior middleweights
Robson Conceicao vs. Hector Ambriz, 8 rounds, junior lightweights
Fazliddin Gaibnazarov vs. Ricardo Garcia, 8 rounds, junior welterweights
Cassius Chaney vs. Michael Glasscox, 6 rounds, heavyweights
Vikas Krishan vs. Steven Andrade, 6 rounds, junior middleweights

Actually totally slipped my mind this card is taking place on Friday. Makes sense obviously with the Pac/Broner card the next day.
So Big Baby is going to fight on this card but doesn't have an opponent yet? Why not just shift him to a February card with a decent opponent?
Miller found an opponent I guess

****ing clownshoes. I looked at the card earlier today. 45% of the fights only have one fighter!
Wait, 45%? How is that possible? Are there 20 fights on the card?
Miller has found an opponent to be named shortly (on fight week)!!!!!!!!!!

TBA is usually never a big name
Clearly they're building towards Maurice Hooker vs Chris Algieri which is a very good fight so I'm sure Chris will be given somebody he can look good against
As for Big Baby, I like Trevor Bryan that is a good fight BUT if you're Don King, why do that fight when your fighter is already #1 by the WBA and is in position to get AJ and a even BIGGER Payday :dunno:
Hearn following the Wilder blueprint set out by Haymon with Miller. Fight bums for over 30 fights.
But we at least knew what bums Wilder was going to fight
