That's very true. Hearn won the lottery when he landed that exclusive deal with Sky. Being able to dangle that gigantic carrot which is Sky Sports for fighters is damn near unfair. It's Sky the fighters are wanting to join it doesn't matter who the promoter is. Anyone would do well if they had an exclusive deal with Sky and strong backing from the head of Sky Barney Francis who's a huge boxing fan. Frank Warren now has an exclusive deal with BT Sport which is decent he has somewhat of a carrot he can dangle for fighters but nothing in comparison to Sky. A damn sight better than solely Boxnation which has basically no budget :lol1: But to be fair to Frank to build that Subscription channel from the ground up to now have an exclusive deal with BT Sport including PPV dates is very impressive. Look at the big dogs in America. Arum and King have been doing this longer than Eddie has been alive. Haymon has significantly less experience but he’s still got about 15 years working the sport in America and has his fingerprints over the biggest events possible. If they want to freeze out Hearn, they can. Nobody in America needs Eddie Hearn. Yeah exactly, experience counts in this game. Look how easily Finkel exposed him in the AJ-Wilder saga

He doesn’t have those supreme advantages in the US, as it’s a much vaster and more competitive market, and it’s filled with absolute sharks of the boxing business such a Arum, Haymon etc. He’s way out of his depth and I think he knows it deep down. That was evident when he asked for proof of funds for the 50m offer. Maybe that’s huge in the UK, but fights in Vegas have 8 digit numbers attached all the time, and Haymon has had his hands on many of them. Ditto Arum. FFS who did Fast Eddie think he was dealing with? Al Haymon had his hands all over the two biggest PPV events of all time in the US and built the biggest boxing promotion in the US that now has deals with Showtime and FOX? Did he think Al was some slappy who had never negotiated a thing in his life?

Honestly starting to question if Hearn has a real strategy for the US market. I mean I get in the UK that you can stage these bum matches and people will still get dressed up and treat out like a big night out. I mean Whyte-Chisora is like Ali-Frazier over there. But you have to start putting some real fights here in the US Eddie. I get the starting slow part but you can't possibly think these events are going to draw flies..

Bare in mind at the DAZN announcement he listed his target signings as Mikey Garcia, Charlo brothers, Wilder, Thurman, Porter, Broner, Tank Davis etc and he has failed to land any of them.
