Hopefully the AJ/Wilder fight gets made, but if it doesn't, it's looking like AJ will either face Whyte at Wembley or Miller at MSG.
Who's the more dangerous opponent of the two?
The one thing that's more risky with the Miller fight would his conditioning and home field advantage. I could see it going 12 and AJ getting robbed.
Whyte on the other hand is more aggressive and would test AJ's chin.
Thoughts?
I'd be more interested in a Miller fight, just because it's new.
But realistically, Whyte is a more dangerous opponent. Miller hasn't done anything of note, and has way too many red flags around his conditioning.
Although I think Whyte is the more proven fighter and has built up a good resume his last couple of fights, I'd rather see AJ-Miller. It's something new and Miller's work rate and home-field advantage are things AJ hasn't experienced yet. If Miller can hold up to AJ's power (his chin is largely untested thus far) it could make for a very interesting fight in the later rounds.
AJ already KO'd Whyte and I'm not really sure a rematch plays out any differently
If Whyte wins his next fight and doesn’t get Joshua, I hope he fights Ortiz or Pulev on the Joshua/Miller card (If the fight comes off).
Yeah Whyte is still looking for that "signature" win. Chisora and Parker were very nice wins, but I don't think anyone considers those guys as anything other than gatekeepers at this point. If he wants to be more than that, he needs a win over someone like Ortiz or Pulez to really legitimize his status..
You always want to see someone new. I would go with a miller just because of that. Out of all of the HW I thought Whyte deserves it more but because we have seen it before it just makes it not worthy of anyone’s precious time. If that fight had ended up like the Fury/Wilder fight then maybe, but because Whyte was laid out I would rather see Miller/Joshua.
Fury and WIlder are more dangerous than both. Miller is too fat and slow, AJ has already proven he is better than Whyte so no rematch is really necessary.
