lomachenko will make the hall of fame as a fighter but what are your thoughts on loma being the greatest lightweight ever? he's already a unified champ he could easily be undisputed by the end of next year. I think 135 is his limit I think he will fight there for the rest of his career. loma is 30 years old.

Love Loma but he’ll never surpass Sugar Ray Robinson or Roberto Duran at 135
No, not even close. He might be a great lower weight fighter that ends up in the HoF, but then after that, you got Pacquiao, Floyd, Chavez, Morales, Duran, etc. etc. rank ahead of him in terms of accomplishment. The level of competition is not there.
But it's not sad though, in today's era, the competition isn't as great as it is because of politics. Pac's and Floyd's welterweight resume is better than all the top welterweights combined.
He's 4 years in his career. Very early to write him off. In 4 years he has more accomplished then all of the above in their first 5 years.
Duran is considered by most the greatest LW ever he then moved up and beat freakin Sugar Ray Leonard.
That’s like Loma dominating LW for years then moving up to WW and beating prime Floyd Mayweather.
In other words fucxxkkk no Loma will never be the greatest LW ever.
You guys should just be content with Loma possibly being the best Ukrainian fighter ever.
The bold: I think Usyk deserves that title more.
Highlight of his career is winning 3 titles in 3 divisions faster than any fighter.
In an era of 18 weight classes and 4 belts per. If a good fighter can’t win at least 1 title in 3 weight classes in this era, that’s sad lol. Not a knock on lonachenko but it’s the way things are now.
Lomachenkos lightweight resume is ****. And he lost rounds to pedraza of all people, any lightweight with a strong jab and well timed right hand will clean his clock
And the highlight of his career so far is *losing* to Orlando Salido...
Highlight of his career is winning 3 titles in 3 divisions faster than any fighter.
He doesnt have a better win than the two Floyd has over a prime Castillo. Easter and Linares are nothing special.
Yeah, while I agree in spirit, I'm thinking the first Castillo fight is not one I would use as an example.
Ever? Unlikely at his 30 years of age.
Also, at the current time there aren't any good dancing partners to measure him.
He'd have to top the deeds of Pac and Floyd. Not to mention Armstring and Robinson so....nah. Forget about it
There is no such title as "best lightweight ever". Its subjective scifi child-like bs. So anyone can be the best lightweight ever in theory & therefore no one can be it at the same time. Its a bs concept. welcome to the message boards. its all about the discussion. People have ranked things since the beginning of time. do think p4p lists are bs as well?
He is way behind the following fighters in terms of GOAT at LW:
Ike Williams
Roberto Duran
Bob Montgomery
Benny Leonard
Carlos Ortiz
Beau Jack
Sammy Angott
Lots of talented fighters whose legacy has been long forgotten, and Loma has not even come close to their accomplishments at 135, and likely never will.
