The people's CHAMP:
Became a world champ at 20
Became a unified champ at 22
Fought Trout and Mayweather in back to back fights
Fought Lara a year later
Fought Cotto the next year and won a title in his 2nd weight division
Became a champ again at 154 a year later
Fought the "boogeyman" twice in back to back fights. With the 2nd time coming off a year layoff and surgery

Not only did he beat GGG but he beat his ass "Mexican style"
is now fighting at 168 only 3 months after his victory
VAMOS CANELO
If he didn't get busted for PED's during the build up to the rematch he would gain all my respect but until he defends his RING title successfully
Sure. You probably felt the same before the clem bullshiiit. Hater.

Best pound for pound fighter with hands down the most impressive resume.
Extremely impressive and his skills are amazing.
What do you think of his chances of being named fighter of the decade? He has to be in the running, right?
I think he has a great chance. I think he should win it if he beats either Charlo, jacobs, andrade or GGG again next year.
TBE could win it as well but he was only active for half of the decade.
Multiple failed tests and a few gift decisions balance things out a little bit. A good fighter but far from a great one in the tradition of the great Mexican fighters like Marquez, Morales, Barrera.
Most of fighters like GGG and Lomachenko, Say that Nelo is top-5 fighter in the world.
But he is FAR from great mexican fighters lol
Múltiple failed tests?
It was only one.
And he won the second fight against GGG, with Lara it was a very competitive, he Landed more power punches and Lara more jabs.
Nothing more.
He is a super élite fighter.
catnelo is better that loma, usik, ggg, that for sureIt's only for sure to an Eastern European champion hater like yourself and the TS and a few others. Canelo is great as are all of the other three champions.

Tyson Fury is the people’s champion
No way is he the people’s champ. People’s champ is always a grinder someone that worked hard to get where they are at. He was put on a silver platter and has all the cards in his favor so yeah no way is he the people champ
I have always respected Canelo as an excellent fighter since the first time I saw him fight when he KOed Cotto's brother. I have never respected you as a poster with your constant unfair and untrue attacks on GGG who is every bit as good a champion and fighter as Canelo. Here is a new flash for you. The majority of viewers thought the 36 year old past prime GGG deserve to win both fights against the prime 28 year old Canelo. Canelo and GGG gave us two great and closely contested fights and are clearly very close to even as fighters. How can you praise Canelo as this great fighter and at the same time trash GGG as some worthless POS. That is just stupid, hateful and wrong.
B-b-but Lomaputa won a gold medal beating on 12 year olds!!!
Great thread though. Canelo's resume is vastly superior to guys like Lomaputa, Crawford, M. Garcia, and Usyk. And people forget he is younger than all of those guys.
As good as Canelo has been so far, we still might not have seen his best at only 28 years old. He might just be entering his prime.
Hopefully he fights Andrade, Jacobs, either Charlo, Munguia, and Ramirez to cement his legacy as a Top 10 Mexican great.
What's your gripe with Loma bro?
He got caught on peds twice, questionable judges on his side. U can't deny that. Have a good dayyou mean the same judges that were approved by golovkin and his team
I give my respect to Canelo for sure. Fighting champion, backed up the big bad boogeyman at the MW division. Little Canelo took the fight to the bigger man and took his best shots. Got schooled by Floyd but didn't let that get to him, instead used that fight as motivation and came back a better fighter.
Respect to Canelo!
