What are your current thoughts on Mikey jumping up two divisions and taking on Spence?
On one hand, he has some serious balls. That's a huge move and he's going straight to a much bigger champ with serious power and skill.
On the other, it seems straight up stupid. No fight to acclimatize to a 2 division jump? No testing how you hold up at WW before taking on one of the best in the division?
Mikey is switched on and always seems to know what he is doing, but still... This strikes me as impulsive and I think he is in for a big shock.
Ambitious but miscalculated. Oh well only he know what he sees. Isnt this why we watch fights though? Its theatre of the unexpected and want to see fighters defy the odds.
People always btching about soft touches and cherrypicks. Garcia wants to skip steps and take on the king kong so wtf is wrong about that?!!
Youre lying i know for a fact youve been calling him to move up and fight crawford
In the thread you created yes. If you've created that thread more than once, which is sh-t that you do, than yes in each of those threads I suggest they fight to see who is better.
That is my standard response to you and the rest of the scumbag wing of Loma's fanbase when any one of you compare them.
When rational posters compare them I and they have a good discussion. Sorry that guys like you can't have a boxing discussion about Loma because you don't like his boxing skills as much as you like, well never mind NSB already knows who you are and what you are about.

If he can get to the scorecards, Mikey wins. They'll have control over the judges for sure. Bookmark this if you like.
Lmao yet youve been crying saying lomachenko should fight crawford :lol1:
Another lie. When you created yet another race based hate/slurp thread about Loma being better than Crawford, I posted to have Crawford and Loma fight to see who is better. CJS got upset and responded and then we debated that possible matchup.
when each of the fights I posted I hated have been announced, I posted my opinion of each and gave reasons why. Try again.
He is 50% Mexican and 50% African. His mother is from Nigeria. He is not stupid. He is simple. Basically like most people who spent many years on a farm picking bananas. Let‘s not make fun of him.
Mikey has unfinished business at 135 with loma. He has no business being at 147, especially against Spence. He's going into this fight with a built in excuse of being the smaller guy moving up 2 weight classes. Spence will get little to no credit for beating up a smaller guy. Even if Mikey fights loma after Spence, there's a good chance thay he'll be damaged goods. All in all,its depriving us of a great match between two champions in their primes at 135.
Stupid. WTF has Spence done? Only has 1 IBF belt in 1 weight class. Fair enough if he was a multi-weight and/or multi-belt holder with PPV-star status but othewise, no!
I give Mikey nothing but credit and respect for wanting to challenge himself by fighting the best regardless of the obvious disadvantages he faces physically
How can anyone think that Mikey is stupid for trying to fight Spence, what happened to the best fighting the best, with no risk, there's no reward, sure it's a difficult fight and Mikey will most likely lose, but he's an undefeated champion and wants to challenge himself and I applaud that.
I think stupid. He has a very makeable, desired matchup against Lomachenko. A matchup he would get a lot of credit for, and a matchup he has a size advantage in. If he fought Loma and beat him as is expected, and THEN moved up for Spence, he could say "well, the dude was too big for him".
What he's doing now he runs a serious chance of sustaining serious damage against a fighter who's ~15-20 lbs bigger than him. He may not recover from that fight.
Plus, this gives an appearance that he legitimately wants no piece of Loma. General consensus is that you can't duck people not in your weight class, so noone would blame him for not fighting Spence. However, he actively avoids Loma despite being called out twice already. Not a good look. If he takes a beating against Spence then never fights Loma, his legacy is trash.
I think brave, he is in a win win situation. He loses meh, but if he wins the world would be speaking about him. The risk is quite low but you still have to be brave to fight someone that young AND big. Someone that doesn't know how to lose yet. I wouldn't call it stupid rather calculated.
Well, I think it is brave and I think it is not Cherrypicking like it's been done for more than a decade now.
Thank you Mickey for stepping up, just don't get yourself killed in there.
I find it a waste. I hate fights like this that on paper give the bigger guy an easy win and the smaller guy a a big payday fight without making him fight a meaningful fight within his division. I hated Canelo/Kahn. I hated GGG/brook. I don't like this fight that much either even though it could turn out to be very good.
IMO, Spence should be fighting Ugas or unifying with Porter and Mikey should be fighting Comney. Then Spence/Thurman and Mikey/Loma.
The cancer of boxing continues... Over the past decade fighters have been praised for taking low risk/high reward fights. Mikey is changing the tone of boxing and taking a high risk fight and hes being considered impulsive and dumb?
& for people that want to cry about the Loma fight, well that fight will always be there whether Mikey has a 0 or not.
