TYSON FURY woke up the heavyweight division last weekend - he should have woken up on Sunday as the WBC World Heavyweight Champion too. The whole country was going crazy over the draw with Deontay Wilder - which was the wrong decision and the rematch will be even bigger. There were nearly 18,000 supporters in LA's Staples Center and more than half of them were cheering on the Brit. Click Here To Read More]
Uh no. A concussion is a temporary loss of consciousness caused by a blow to the head. So for you to argue that that DIDN'T happen means you either didn't see the fight, you believe what Hearn said about the knockdown, or you're trying to downplay how hard Wilder hits and how close Fury was to losing by knockout.
Fury is obviously more credible than anything Hearn or Joshua say about what happened in that 12th round. In addition, he actually had the guts to fight Wilder. Hearn and Joshua are trying to convince you that they want to fight Wilder but in reality, it probably won't happen next year, if ever.
You are the one who saw the fight maybe while suffering from a concussion which affects judgement, vision, etc.
You sure don't know much about anything. The proof that he wasn't concussed is 1. what he did immediately afterward--great-- and 2. They apparently did not take him to hospital which is standard if concussion is a possibility.
And to believe the nonsense Fury says about anything is idiotic.
When caught 3 years ago with nandrolone--a PED-- in his system, Fury said that he and his cousin Hughie had eaten "a wild boar that wasn't castrated."

Not even close. Joshua is clearly still #1. Beating Wilder doesn't put you ahead of Joshua, you're going to have to beat Joshua to do that.
AJ was never, ever above Fury and never will be, tick turd.
Get off of his ballsack, Fury was always the man to beat, even in absence, he's been back, nothing's changed, as I said years ago, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. AND NOTHING HAS! LMAO.
So for those first 5 seconds as he lay motionless, he was just patiently waiting for the count or was that a sign that maybe he was in la-la land? What about when he says he has no idea how he got up, that God brought him back... Back from what? Because according to you, he was still conscious and the blows were not all that hard. How was he moving away from the left hook that caught him as he was going down from the right hand blast?
Give me a break. Fury was concussed, the ref let him continue and he gave as good as he got in that last round. Great fight from both champions and they'd be favored to beat Joshua, in my opinion... Joshua is too conventional and stiff for either fighter, but who knows. Hopefully after the Wilder-Fury rematch, he'll finally step up and we'll know for sure.

True. He did not have a concussion and those blows were not all that hard also as Fury was moving away. See Frazier's thunderous leaping left hook vs Ali in 15th rd. KDed him apparently w.o. loss of consciousness or concussion. There's massive overhyping in all aspects in part for the trilogy.
I know what a concussion is. And Fury didn't have any signs of having one. That's unless you think ALL fighters get one after a couple of big shots?

Who would you rather be? The winner, Fury maybe?
Fury didn't have a concussion either. Look at Bellew after the Usyk fight, that's a concussion.
That's the way Bellew always talks!
Fury certainly wasn't concussed though. The scene was dramatic and from afar he looked gone.
But you can see him looking up at the lights and the referee. The referee could see him looking up.
He actually did the same after the round 9 KD which wasn't from the same kind of shots.
Look up and get your bearings, follow the count, get up. It seemed very deliberate and thought through.

Yep, Fury and Wilders people are acting like AJ doesn’t exist which is funny. How can a guy with 3 of the 4 belts not exist?!
The problem with Tyson Fury is he doesn't seem to have the punching power to KO Wilder or Joshua for that matter and what scares me the most is him being a show pony and basically handing the 9th round to Wilder with that knock down that inevitably cost him the match. He needs to cut that out otherwise AJ might put him to sleep with one of his deadly combinations.

Wow.......

Please look up the definition of a concussion and watch the Wilder-Fury fight. The Bellow knockout was one shot; the Fury knockdown was a debilitating right, followed by a flush left hook AS HE WAS FALLING!!! Fury was just able to recover quicker than Bellow, that's all. Thankfully, they are both OK.

I was blown away by how elusive and skillful Fury was, and this is with him coming off massive personal and health problems. He might not get the official nod, but in the real world he's in a league of his own - AJ, Wilder don't have half the talent Fury has in his pinkie. **** american boxing and **** racist brits. Long live the Gypsy King.
This 100%
The Gypsy King is immortal. Long live the Gypsy King

I also had it 114-112 Fury, but let's not pretend that Fury didn't take more punishment in that fight. Would you rather be Fury out-boxing Wilder, or Wilder brutally concussing Fury?
The fact is, Fury was lucky the fight wasn't stopped in the 12th round and Wilder was lucky there was a wayward judge. So officially, they're equals until they fight again, regardless of who took more punishment or who was out-boxing who.
Fury needs to rest his brain until at least March and Wilder only wants a Fury rematch, so Joshua fans will have to enjoy Whyte II, a Chisora fight or a Pulev IBF mandatory.
The rest of us can look forward to a mouthwatering Wilder-Fury rematch (hopefully in the UK), where both men will be even better....
Should be early summer...

Beating who exactly puts AJ over Fury? Charles Martin?
You think Joshua is number 1 due to Charles Martin? Are you purposely trying to be stupid? When Fury beat Wlad, Fury took the number 1 spot and put Wlad in the number 2 spot. But when Fury walked away from the division, Wlad retook the number 1 spot. Joshua then beats him so takes that position.
Stop writing nonsense will you.
I agree, Hearn has walked Joshua the safest protected route and both made good money but now Joshua is being shown clearly for his failings and will be seen clearly as a runner.I'm all for these guys making loads but to listen to old man accountant Barry talk about his seven years plan for Joshua is pretty sickening
When did AJ run from Fury you fool? Stop making things up in your head, too many weirdo's and nutters do that in the boxing world without you adding to the madness.
GTFOH!!! FURY got knocked on his big as 2x by a 209lb LHW. This is not a fake ROCKY movie because he got up and went the distance. He is no. 3 at best in HW rankings. Let's keep it 100!!
LHW's weigh 209 LBS? No, they weigh 175. Wilder's not even a Cruiserweight because they're 200 and under. Anything over 200 is Heavyweight.
You need to be asking yourself how Wilder lost all that weight he had before the Ortiz and Fury fights. Maybe VADA was getting too much for him?
