Floyd Mayweather says his New Year's Eve bout with Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa will be "all about the entertainment". The nine-minute exhibition in Japan will have no official winner or loser if it goes the distance, and Mayweather said at a press gathering at his training base in Las Vegas on Thursday that he was looking forward to the event as a chance to sample "something different". It will basically be this...
Just a Exhibition for entertainment Purposes ONLY, Light Sparring most likely
Not really interested but I will check it out
So boring that you have to be here...LOL
I was interested to see the rules of the bout. 9 minute exhibition where the outcome doesn't matter? Pfffftttttt, no thanks.
What a joke. He's going to con all his idiot sheep into paying 89.99 USD into buying this 9 minute farce.
And since there probably won't be a clear winner, his idiot fans will proclaim him to be the best MMA fighter in the world.
Its not a con. People just want to witness greatness before he is completely done punching someone in the face. :burnout:
More like 9 minutes of pure crap
If it were pure crap then why would you be here? Do you like crap?? Are you one of those that have a nasty sexual fetish to eat crap??? :puke:
I thought Lidstrom was better than Chelios, but Chelios was good too
Good catch dude
well yeah, but Chelios played until he was 48. Guy was in insane shape. They said that after a game, he would pull the stationary bike into the Sauna and do 60 minutes...after the ****ing hockey game!
Major spotlight on their guy.
There will be no competing sporting events on NYE. This will be alone in the way it is advertised and shown. It's also, obviously, pretty unique.
I still think Floyd and Manny rematch between June and August assuming Manny wins and goes without injury and Floyd doesn't hurt himself in his "exhibition"
My guess is that the exhibition is more for Floyd to see if he can still do it at a competitive level at all. He is after all 41-42 years old? No other sport has guys performing at high levels at that age...its a very short list (BHop and Lidstrom from hockey).
Damn homie, you name Lidstrom but not Chelios?
