TYSON FURY is now the top dog in the heavyweight division while Anthony Joshua continues to be Eddie Hearn's cash cow. That was the view of Fury's promoter Frank Warren last night after his man was involved in a thrilling draw against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in the early hours of Sunday. True, but they have both been afforded the opportunity.
Hearn lined up a 3-4 fight route to AJ for Fury, he didn't take it and signed for Warren instead.
Wilder was offered legitimately (as in without extra money from a rival broadcaster that nobody was supposed to know about) his highest ever payday to fight Joshua, including what he just got for fighting Fury. He turned it down as it wasn't enough.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink
p1ss off :lol1:
Fury can sign with whoever he wants..... that can not, does not, and will not..... prevent Hearn from making him a reasonable offer
and when Fast Eddie recently admitted this.....
" At the moment I think a split of 65-35 in AJ’s favour is fair "
he admitted that his previous offer to Wilder was Bullshlt
you are making the same childish excuses as everyone else
sorry dude, I see you are new here
those fanboy muppet excuses do not work with me
it is clearly obvious that Joshua is avoiding Wilder
so..... pull the other one LMAO
why do you guys NEED to do that ?
none of them are Wilder or Fury

These "scrubs" you mention are all highly ranked contenders, or were at the time of the fights. The stadium filling fights have been against; Wlad Klitschko - an all time great, to add WBA title. Takam - late notice replacement for mandatory, who was still ranked in top 5 by IBF at the time. Parker - WBO champ. Povetkin - beaten only by Wlad previously, and no lower than #3 on every independent ranking system at the time.
If all these are scrubs, then the HW division must be in a pretty sad state?
none of them are Wilder or Fury
but the reality is..... Joshua sells 90k tickets fighting scrubs
a loss to either Fury or Wilder - which is distinctly possible - would signal the end of that gravy-train
THAT, is why they offered Wilder 15mil..... despite the fact that they offered Parker 32.5%
and they offered Wilder 15mil despite Hearn admitting this.....
" At the moment I think a split of 65-35 in AJ’s favor is fair "
nothing had/has changed
other than, now they know that if Wilder can land his best punch on the better/slicker Fury..... then he will likely land his best punch on Joshua

From the point of view of a great fight for the fans and one that would pay a large purse to either Wilder or Fury, I agree with you 100%. I'm just saying that for the present there's a lot of resentment by both fighters toward Hearn that could stand in the way for a while.
No doubt on that last point, but then Hearn's main job is to look after his own fighters - he's always gonna rile up people who are not on his books - same with any promoter.
I think what really turned the screw here is Frank Warren sticking the needle in. First he convinced Fury to be his main HW, rather than playing second fiddle at Matchroom. Fury would have got more money out of Hearn, but his pride won't let him settle for 2nd best until he could beat Joshua - he wants to be called the best straight away, this is a macho sport after all.
Then Warren falsely fronts up money that he didn't have (see his current financial problems) for the $50million offer that Wilder's team made. That would have given BT exclusive ownership of the fight in the UK meaning Joshua, who's contracted to Sky would never have been able to accept. That's why Finkel would not say where the money was coming from at first only that it's there.
As much as they both hate Hearn, Warren is the main problem here - he's like the weaselly little gobsh|te's who cause a ruckus then hide behind the big lads.
Yes they can get rich off each other, but not as rich as if either were to fight Joshua. Also I think the novelty would wear off after a 2nd fight and there would be little call for a 3rd.
This fight did around 900k UK buys, which is impressive considering it was in the pre-dawn hours here - but if either fights Joshua in the UK the numbers would at least rival those of his fight with Wlad of 1.7m buys and I reckon it could break the 2m barrier.
If it's Wilder in the opposite corner to AJ, then you have the undisputed status to boost the number of buys both sides of the pond. I think there would be a 2nd fight as well, possibly in NY as Hearn's been doing a bit of business there and the time difference to the UK is more friendly than Vegas.

They can also avoid Joshua just as he avoided Wilder. The shoes on the other foot now as they can get rich without AJ. Hearn taught us all that it's about the money and not about settling who is really the true world champion.

I agree with Warren, I said the same thing yesterday
1) Fury
2) Wilder
3) Joshua
and I said weeks back..... when Joshua's numbers drop, and they will..... suddenly, they will have no problem whatsoever negotiating a fair deal with Wilder
or should I say, Fury..... because they will never fight Wilder before that HUGE local payday with Fury
#business
AJ was dumb for turning down the Wilder fight he would have made it the full twelve with Wilder and got the decision in his home country and he would be undisputed champ by now lol Wilder clearly let the moment get too big for him on his first ppv AJ could've took full advantage of that. Now Wilder has the experience from this fight under his belt. So he "might" not be so nervous next time out. Also I wish AJ would have been at the fight that would have been the perfect scenario after a great fight for AJ to be there. I think AJ missed a golden opportunity there. Now all people are talking is Fury being the people's champ and his incredible comeback performance. And the late Wilder knock down and the controversial decision and not AJ.
You are entitled to your opinion but the last time I checked your are neither a promoter nor a manager.
So be calm, let the professionals do their jobs.
Except it isn't. Fury is the lineal champion, he's the man who beat the man. Joshua & Wilder are plastic champions.
Smiles... If that's what makes you happy, I don't have issues with it.
Everybody, including the independent ranking bodies all agree with me. The lineal stuff was just to promote the wilder fight and we are done with that.
This is reality now. To be #1, beat the current #1 guy.
It's not a difficult thing to understand.

AJ don't need to beat any other person to be #1. Hez already #1. To be #1, you haven't fight and beat him first. It's that simple.

That's an interesting option, Joshua-Usyk. I doubt that would happen next, as Usyk surely would like a fight against a contender to test the waters. But if he's extremely confident he can beat AJ even now, then he would take it. Comfortable fight for Joshua though.

All plastic belts and champions. Joshua can't call himself champion & #1 until he beats Tyson Fury.

of course, anyone would take that chance. I'm not critical of winning a loose championship. All I was saying is that it's his responsibility to face Wilder and Fury, to establish who is the best. He has avoided that.
No he hasn’t avoided it. That’s a flat out lie. But I agree it’s up to all three to prove who the best is. No matter how much anyone says it Joshua is number 1 at HW until proven otherwise by this two. You can make a case for Fury at number 2 and Wilder at number 3. Or both of them tie at number 2. But to suggest Joshua has avoid that is a flat out lie.
It has also been reported that Joshua is trying to secure David Haye for his next fight. AJ supposedly wants to fight a different cruiserweight to get ready for Usyk. Hearn talked him into the Hayemaker.
You don't see Warren mentioning that. Warren knows a Joshua-Haye fight would easily outshine a Wilder-Fury rematch! Haye won't fight Fury. He thinks being a Gypsy is contagious. AJ is going to take advantage of this and steal the spotlight from Wilder and Fury!
wait what? what year is it? this is a troll post, yes?
