If you rewatch it it could have been exactly 10 seconds or extremely close to 10, but it wasn’t no 13 or 14 seconds like a lot of people are saying. He got up literally just in time or it could have been exactly 10 on the dot when he rose up. It’s hard to say whether it was right at 10 or right before 10 seconds.
I don't have a problem with the count. Many great fight is because of the ref not stopping the fight.
Look at that Ward/Gatti 1 fight. The ref could had stepped in at any time and we had a classic
Because they are embarrassed about their predictions and have to cling onto this in order to save face
this! And because we don't have boxing fans, we have cheerleaders.

I was just going to make a thread about that. I just literally saw the relay of the KD. It was a normal count and he made sure Fury was able to continue by asking him to walk over ther then back. Great job by the ref. Only windmill fan boys are upset because he was getting schooled by an out of shape (boxing shape) mental health case (I love fury). Thy have to resort to all these BS excuses. Props to wilder for having the pop to floor him after being schooled for 10 of the previous 11 rounds and putting together that punch combo
Yeah, it was definitely close for sure. I’m glad Reiss didn’t waive the fight off since Fury deserved a chance to get up. He could have easily called it off.
Not sure if you agree particularly but I personally had the fight a draw or a Fury win. I keep saying I think a lot of people are not thinking about those early rounds since people only remember the KO rounds & the rounds Fury was dominating in the middle of the fight. But Wilder quietly won a few rounds in the beginning which got him to squeak by with the draw. That 115-111 card in favor of Wilder was bs though. At best for Wilder it was 113-113 or it could have been 114-112 for Fury. I think 115-111 for Fury is too wide as well.
I think a draw for this was fair as I too thought Wilder eeked out some early rds.
People saying this was bad like GGG v Canelo I draw is whack. There GGG won 8 or 9 rds. clearly.
I had predicted a Wilder KO. I write it could even be in the last rd.
Came within a second. Rematch should be even better.
I timed him up a bit after 9 but before 10.
Remember you don't count 1 when he hits the canvas. He has to be down for 1 second before you count 1.

Referee gave fury way too much attention after knock down he gave him a wake up call (screaming on top with a countdown ) and 10 second walk off after
Mmmm...I don’t know about that. The ref did what he was supposed to do: make sure the fighter really was in condition to continue. He was determining if the Fury was coherent and able to acknowledge directions. Tyson reacted appropriately and the fight was promptly allowed to continue. Nothing out of the ordinary here. No extraneous time allowed.

Good point to make.
Lol Thanks for posting these vids. I myself didn’t need to see them, as it was evident to me in real-time there was nothing amiss. Even if Fury had gotten another second, it wouldn’t have been a big deal to me. Happens all the time. Humans aren’t machines, and refs aren’t precision stopwatches. I honestly don’t get where this 12 (or more) second thing came from. Even with the naked eye it’s clear it’s not so. Goes to show how easy it is for someone to start rumors and many will believe them.

I honestly thought the ref did the right thing by not stopping it.
True, it’s just it’s right there in front of everyone to rewatch in clear view to see it wasn’t more than 10 seconds at the very most. It feels like his legs rose exactly at the 10 second point.
On the other side, I also feel Fury didn’t win the first 4 rounds. Wilder definitely won 2 of those first 4 in my opinion for sure if you rewatch. Not a popular opinion, but a draw wasn’t a bad decision in my opinion at all. Fury for sure won more rounds more decisively, but Wilder didn’t only just win his KO rounds. I feel it should have either been a Fury win or a draw.
im trying to find a link to re watch, those first 5 rounds were not all fury imo i agree but need to re watch!
