Fury - was telling my family to be quiet about decision

This guy is coming across more and more classy. Fury has been commended by head trainer Ben Davison for keeping his composure in the ring in spite of the general consensus that he'd been robbed of a historic title win. "I was telling my brothers and my family to keep quiet," Fury explained in his post-fight press conference. "There were about 8,000 travellers and Brits who had come from around the world, maybe even 10,000. "They probably would have smashed this arena up if I'd instigated it and I mean to the floor! "I just wanted to be an ambassador for my country and my people." He was more worried about violence in the arena rather than focusing on his own sporting misfortune. More fighters could learn from him. Fury should have given the order to burn it down!!!

Fury was not robbed in any way, shape or form. I truly wonder what fight some people seemed to watch. Fury landed 84 punches. Wilder landed 71 punches, including the harder ones, with more thrown and two knockdowns. Since when has any fighter won a 12 round decision with only 84 punches landed while getting put on the canvas twice, never mind that decision being for the Heavyweight Championship? The low connect rate in every round left judges pondering between half a dozen landed punches each (or less). In such small numbers, it is going to come down to who threw more, or was the effective aggressor or frankly who may have had the 1 or 2 solidly connecting punches that round. To claim that Fury won every non-knockdown round is someone who had a vested outcome in the fight because for all of his theatrics Fury was not very effective. He also made Wilder ineffective but that does not necessarily win the round for Fury. The draw is the right decision. Fury made Wilder fight his fight and connected (very) slightly more but neither did a good job. That is balanced out by Fury ending up on his ass twice. The only robbery was the amount charged for the PPV to see so few punches actually connect.

It was 6 rounds to 6 rounds and with the 2 10-8 rounds for Wilder is a 114-112 win for Wilder. I have no problem with a 7-5 for Fury but that makes it a Draw. In absolutely no way was it anything better than 7-5 fury or 6-6. You haven't read the opening post

He started getting up at 7 and the ref stopped counting and then let him walk around for almost 11 seconds after getting up like he took a low blow. That was absolute garbage.

Wilder deserves an extra point for each of the the two knockdowns. That doesn't offset losing just about all of the 10 rounds he did not score a knockdown in. He didn't get a long count at all, it's a myth and has been disproven in another thread

Yeah I don't feel he handled post fight that well, he seemed defensive about his performance I think Wilder is an emotional sort of person. All the boos afterwards probably had him scrambled up for a bit.

Classy by Fury, but I hardly doubt those British travelers would have smashed anything other than their own faces. I seem to recall a lot of recent instances where British hooligans instigated crap while traveling to other teams arenas during European football, and got the **** beat out of them while confronted by locals.
