Deontay Wilder, weighing in at 212.5 pounds for his WBC heavyweight world title defense against Tyson Fury on Friday, vowed to knock out the British challenger. Wilder wore a black leather facemask to the weigh-in outside of Staples Center, but that was as menacing as it got as the two fighters were kept several feet apart for the traditional stare-down in the wake of an explosive final press conference on Wednesday. lol, this didn't age well.
You're right about that. Not well at all. I was in here quick to give Fury full credit afterward though. I could not have been more wrong about Fury or Wilder. Wilder got schooled and looked every bit the fighter that his sharpest critics said he was. Fury showed himself to be top class before, during and after the fight. I am a fan now.
Haha, ridiculous. Absolutely nobody is going to make excuses about Wilder coming up short due to his weight. You fools, on the other hand, have spent the last two months preparing your excuses for why Fury is going to get steamrolled. He's a sloppy, fat-fu-ck, but that's not the main reason he's going to lose. He'll lose because Wilder is simply better.

Ortiz in my opinion had been the most skilled fighter at heavyweight. He has high boxing pedigree, strong, south paw, and has power in both hands. I don’t how much he has left going forward - he’s getting older. But when wilder fought him he was the best and most feared heavyweight out there. Ortiz>>>>>>>>fury
Wilder hasn't fought nobody apart from tomato can. I don't rate Ortiz at all because he's beat no one. He fights in undercards at his age and never won nothing.
* in Fury's voice *
you will need more than a right hand to beat me sunshine

Not that he needs it but this is just more proof how stupid Wilder is , when asked is Fury you're toughest opponent his response is ...ive fought way more tougher FIGHTERS than Fury ? :burnout:
I really hope he believes that ( hes dumb enough by a mile to) ,going to be real fun watching 212 Wilder tomorrow night. You Wilderettes better be sweating ,if you're smart you should start posting that excuse now when /if he loses ..that is he was underweight ...you guys did last time as the reason he struggled against ortiz...lol

What an exaggeration. He's fought only Luis Ortiz (who should be seen as lesser), and nobody else was anywhere near as good.
Not really. Wilder did beat nicolai firtha up for four rounds before knocking him out. That's gotta count in this conversation.
Surrrreee rookie. You have more posts than Wilder has thrown body shots in his entire career.
C'mon let's be honest, how many wilder right hands can Tyson take to that soft, extra long, flabby torso..
Fury seems to be trying to win the fight by talking... Judging by the enormous rolls and only losing 2 pounds since pianetta id say he's going to get out worked.
Death by body shots..

Bermane stiverne and Ortiz comes to mind. But I don’t think those two are better than Fury, the timing of when he fought them comes to mind. Bermane I think might be the one due to Wilder lack of big fight experience.
