I personally am because i am a fan of all the name fighters on the card and it's a significant fight. I will be splitting the ppv with a few friends I think. Who else is looking forward to the show?
WBC vs Lineal champion. That’s basically what you described when saying what PPV should be reserved for.
And when was the price increase? GGG/Canelo 2 cost $15 more!
And lastly, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who ordered a PPV for the undercard. Everyone complaining just to conplain.
Na im complaining because i work hard for my money and im not trying to waste it on bad business thats milking our sport and fans
$64.99 in SD has been the standard price for six years now and many recent PPVs have been $74.99-$89.99 in SD. What is this increasing price you speak of?
As for the undercard, the unified junior middleweight championship of the world is being defended. Also, Ring Magazine & ESPN #3 heavyweight in the world King Kong Ortiz is on the undercard.
Not to mention Showtime giving away Stevenson vs Gvozdyk for the world light heavyweight championship away for free.
So in one night, you've got the WBC & lineal world heavyweight championship unification, the WBC & lineal world light heavyweight championship being defended in a dangerous mandatory defense, and the unified IBF & Super WBA world 154 pound championship.
Doesn't seem weak to me.
And before 65 dollars how long was it 50? Other than that you literally just explained the price increase when you stated:
"$64.99 in SD has been the standard price for six years now and many recent PPVs have been $74.99-$89.99 in SD."
The joyce, ortiz and hurd fights are all mismatch showcases. The stevenson fight is a decent bone to throw but stevenson is all but irrelevant at this point with his inactivity. Oh yeah and for the people going to the fight live they dont even get to see it because its in canada lol.
With all that being said ill still most likely be ordering it because it seems like enough friends are interested enough. It just barely scrapes by as ppv worthy
I'm tempted. Why only tempted?
Because is Fury even comparable to when he beat Klitschko? I wasn't too impressed with his first comeback fight, although the next fight was better. It's a very intriguing fight, but I would have wished that Tyson took one more tune-up fight against better competition than his last.
The other selling point really, is that Stevenson vs Gvozdyk is going down. I can see Stevenson losing, as well as KOing Gvozdyk. I think that's a big (in the sense of importance) fight, and that makes me enticed to go for it.
I'll probably just see it at a bar, or something, though.

I have never paid for a PPV but I have paid for anti-virus software
No way. Weak undercard and the main event isn't that compelling. Stevenson vs Gvozdyk is a much more interesting fight and you don't have to pay extra for that.
Hell no.
It's not PPV worthy at all. Since when are these two a PPV material? No skills Wilder vs drained, out of shape Fury. Is that what boxing is coming to these days?
Good luck.
Haven't been this excited for a fight since LEWIS-TYSON. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Yes, definitely ordering it.
You'll get it for free from your employers anyway, you shill.
It's Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder, hell yes i'm ordering it.
Exactly this i was shocked to hear there is still thousands of unsold tickets such contrasting styles this is a must watch.
Plus the fight is a huge unknown, Wilder can KO him in first round, or Fury will box circles for 12Without question; This fight has so many intricacies to it that I can't pass it up. My personal opinion is that Fury may do well for the first couple of rounds but after that; He won't be able to avoid Wilder's equalizer which is his right hand. Inevitably, Wilder will find, catch and stop him somewhere in the mid to later rounds.
