I say it will be between 200-350k buys. That said, it is priced too high @ $74.95 in HD

Someone was dead nuts on wasn't he?
That's what I thought.
Wilder is champion since 2015. Hearn is building Joshua's brand since 2012.
I agree they could manage Wilder better, he only started to appear in other media this year. I guess they planned to hype him with a Klitschko fight and then with a Fury fight. When both fell through they got in a limbo with no big name to fight. But they could advertise him a lot more
Also could've tried outbidding AJ on unifications and securing them.
Sounded like AJ wasn't really at the point in his career to start challenging for world titles but took the risk when called out by Martin so maybe they would've been reluctant to bid as high as Wilder. Martin looks like he was just trying to sell the belt.
Maybe Wilder doesn't help himself with all his recent self pitying about how hard he's had it, he doesn't appeal to the publics empathy, he just aims to say you don't know, how could you understand what he's been through. He's loud but he's not got Ali's silver tongue. I think less could be more sometimes and his team that he pays for this sort of stuff, should be advising better ways to put his conflicts across.
Yeah that's from the start but Wilder has been a champ for the longest as we keep getting reminded and that means he's had more time to be invested in, unifications etc, but this has not happened and this current cards looks similar when talks of GRJ and Tank being on it started gaining momentum but it has lost it now.
I know the AJ cards have been pants but he doesn't need to build his name atm.

Perhaps because we are sick of being asked to pay 75 bucks to see fights that should be on the networks we pay monthly fees for.
well just dont pay 4 it, its not the first or last PPV you would think that boxing fans would actually talk about boxing but you guys have really ruined this site
You think if you was gonna watch it on your own for whatever reason, $75 is so much. Also guessing from Wilders own background which is where I assume you get the most of your fans they are people that have nothing or little money so $40 would be much more obtainable to them.
It's like these guys want to pay more money.
No matter how rich you are. There is no pride in paying $75 when you can actually get it for $40 or better still is it's available for $10.
Boxing should be a sport for all who is interested. It should be a sport that will pull people away from the comfort of their houses tomorrow the arena in mass just like football.
Fans can actually be at home to watch football but you can see the turn out.
Boxing can attract such too if it's packaged well.
For me? He's not as marketable.
His wannabe Tupac bandana bullshiat and personality and looks, size don't, just all that combined don't interest me to become a fan.
To be fair, neither does Joshua...but I can see why people would gravitate towards Joshua and cheer him on.
So your just not that into current HW boxing that's fair.
Joshua "won" a gold medal in his country. From ther on his career was all about turning him in a star.
Wilder started boxing just to pay for his daughter surgeries. From the start he planned to be a journeyman. Only a few years ago he started pushing for more

There are many fans that want to buy but are put off with the price.
Am still of the opinion that @40dollars, there will be approximately X2 of the 75dollar buy.

Price might different, however, we don't pay a PPV price to watch fights that are on PPV in the UK. All your PPV fights are pretty much shown in the US on regular cable channels.
Yeah but they don't involve an American so they don't have an American draw Wilder Povetkin would have been bigger in the US than AJ Povetkin in America because Wilder is American so it has the patriotc draw to it. Look at the Charlo matchups coming up they're not gonna be PPV UK because they don't have a British fight to draw the British public.
If you want to disagree then you're arguing UK is the home of boxing.
That's exactly it and why I don't get why people get mad the fight is at $75 bucks and not $65 bucks or in this case $40 bucks. Now, is there a certain cut off? Absolutely, but it's not from $65 to $75. Would more people buy it at $40 instead of $75? Possibly, but close to double as many buys? No way.

Not sure, AJ is an easier sell from the start. It's hard to mess up, just keep giving him fights he'll win and keep him chiseled with muscular definition.
