I got Dinu. I've watched all his old fights and believe he has the skills and the stamina to defeat Miller, but I'll go through my reasoning for picking against the -1007 favorite Miller is.
First of all, Miller has been negative with his promoter, Salita. He has even brought up in a camera interview how Salita took a dive vs Khan. So, in light of this, I'm expecting 'promoter retaliation' which would mean a firmer, larger ring. Possibly not though, as during glove selection, Miller chose white. White canvas and white gloves on a guy known for his power uppercut is not good for Dinu, but I don't think he'll stick around long enough to get cheesed by Miller's grab-uppercut technique.
Dinu has lateral movement, quality, lateral movement. He can jab, his timing is good. He doubles up the left hook fast, like he's been boxing for years. He counters better than Miller and I've even seen Dinu throw some feints. His physical condition is the best I've seen him in, and he's quite confident "I deal with people like Miller every day" is what he said. Dinu is the equivalent of a SWAT team leader in his country, and I just think he's seen more horror in his life than Miller. Plain and simple.
Miller comes forward, doesn't box and he gets very aggressive and irritated when you feed him the jab. When Wach started outboxing him, he resorted to a brilliant looping long-range quadricep punch to slow him down, if that lands against Dinu, Dinu's finished. He is good at slowing down boxers who frustrate him. I'm trying to figure out how to put a small amount of btc on dinu. lol, I feel like he's gonna pull the upset!
Another thing, Hearns recruited Miller basically to have a punching bag status HW under his control to feed AJ, should Fury beat Wilder. That way, AJ won't look like he's blatantly ducking Fury after he waxes Wilder.
Haha, the funny thing is, I would like to see Fury win, but I just see his inactivity as a problem.
A good style match up though. :boxing:
Fury has too many variables in his favor, friend. Firstly he has a win over a post-Steward Klitschko, which to me, is a big deal. I grew up watching Klitschko. I know how much he improved with Steward, after he lost to Brewster he got with Steward. So people who bring up the Ibragimov KO, I always tell them that it was before Vlad got with Steward. (Cause Ibragimov whooped Brewster after Brewster beat Klitschko)
I have my doubts on how Wilder will deal with feints, and the idea of him going out there and knocking Fury out is something I don't see happening. We've never seen Fury hurt, just flash knocked down with Cunningham - though he did clinch a bit after he got up. I felt that KD happened because he didn't respect Steve's power, and I feel he will be fully respecting the right side of Wilder's body. Fury is so good, if all he has to do is nullify Wilder's right, well he can move to Wilder's left and cause all kinds of problems at range, it's simple physics. Fury can launch a southpaw corkscrew lead hand uppercut after a cross feint and nail Wilder. I expect Wilder to get dazed and hurt in this fight, knocked down, but not out. I'm expecting a 12 round fight, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Wilder get Cunningham'd.
Add to Roach being in Fury's corner, add the fact that Fury has a month of altitude training...Having seen him throw punches recently, I can tell you he is in better shape, a better man than that who fought Klitschko. That's why I'm betting 5 G's on him.
And we have to remember that Wilder did Fury this favor. He spoke bad about Fury while he was 350+ lbs, and what did Fury do? He believed enough in his coked out self to lose the weight and beat Wilder, because he knew about Nichols knocking Wilder down, and he knew about Sconier knocking Wilder down. That's my guess.
Haha, the funny thing is, I would like to see Fury win, but I just see his inactivity as a problem.
A good style match up though. :boxing:
250,000,000,000,029.50 is what you gonna owe me after Dinu handles Miller. GET READY :) :boxing:

tonight the bet is
250 with 12 0's
Quarter your points on tonights and I'm 50/50 on Wilder vs Fury so........... I'll take 50%. I'll go with Wilder.
Deal, I think Matchroom may have it out for Bogdan, not setting the ring up properly is blatant. That said, I think Dinu hits hard enough to handle Miller in close quarters.
Haha you lost me when you said Dinu is a SWAT and white canvas is against him :lol1:
Glove color means more than you think and probably more than we both know unless we've participated with a floor and a glove the same color. It seems like common sense, /shrug.
Dinu's more than a cop, but probably less than a swat. He's a member of the SAISS or SIIAS one or the other - forget. I know his unit does organized crime. Who knows, Dinu's probably smoked a few. Has miller?
Looked them up, and they seem more bout it than cops for sure.
