Yes he is beating Wilder hands down.
Reasons:
1. Tyson Fury is the better boxer whole round. To un-bundle this;
2. Tyson Fury has a better jab and has a longer reach
3. Fury has a better lateral and come forward movements
4. Tyson Fury has better combinations and higher punch volume than wilder
5. Tyson Fury is taller
6. Tyson fury has a better engine (although this has to be tested due to the layoff)
7. Tyson has more body balance when fighting and ducks punches better.
Need I say more?
but you just said that you underestimated Fury?? ok whatever
I already knew he was the better boxer but nobody knew he would be ready for Wilder. I don't even think members of his camp fully knew. But it's all good. I semi-ate my crow. :beerchug:
I didn't learn anything new, I don't want you to go mistaking anything. As you saw, Fury did still almost get knocked out.

all good dude, we never stop learning in this game :boxing::boxing::boxing:

I knew Fury was the better boxer. Always have. You don't avoid even a 39 year old Klitschko for 12 rounds without being pretty good. But, I admit that I underestimated his comeback readiness based on his last two tune-up fights. That, and he's fricken' huge! He dwarfed Wilder in there with his reach and overall girth. I was pleasantly surprised. Wilder was somewhat exposed. I honestly didn't think that there was such a deficit in overall boxing craft.

that is a fair response; Howard Foster would've waved it off before Fury even started to drop
...was mostly just hurt that you told me to 'go get a boxing education and then we'll talk' :crying: :crying: :crying:
this fight has opened my eyes to several posters here. well, whatever, it was a great fight, Fury has once again set the HW division alight

Oh, so as he was sleeping with his eyes rolled back in the 12th rd, where most refs would have waived a fight off without a count at all, were you thinking I'm a f@ckwit, b@tch? No, no you weren't.
But I'm gracious and will say that I was impressed with Fury and he managed to do what I didn't think he would. Good on him. I'm glad he didn't get sparked. As I said, I'm not a racist Wilder fan.

Boxing Goat making a complete fool out of himself as usual. I remember he disappeared for a month after Fury schooled his hero Wlad, who was also going to brutally knock him out....
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
Lol! Trust me it doesn't change a d@mn thing for my life boy.
And your sig pic says it all. Tyson was pretty much KTFO. But I made a fool out of myself. Yeah, keep telling yourself that and maybe one day you'll believe it.
Told you.
:lol1::lol1:
So a trash fighter was a second from knocking Fury the F out? You know d@mn well that I was a p@ssy hair from winning that bet. But congrats to Tyson. Briliant to even make the bell. Good call to you.
60% of the Fury on the Wlad fight easily beats 100% of prime Wilder. Wilder is just trash.
Complete garbage assessment. You're delusional.
Here's a bet: I bet you that Fury get's knocked out. Not out-pointed, not technically losing, etc. Flat knocked out!
The bet is that I will post the signature of your choice if it doesn't happen. If Fury escapes getting KO'd in any fashion, I'll run the signature of your choice for a MONTH.
Now, If you lose the bet, you will also run my signature choice for a month, but I want you to totally take back this nonsense you say about Wilder.
Deal? If so, respond and we'll sig it.
Told you.

Your statement ('So Ali and Joe Louis were basically shot at 35 but Wlad wasn't at 39?') assumes that boxers become 'shot' according to their age; it's just not true. It depends on many things, such as lifestyle and style of boxing.
With regard to your initial post quoted, I guess I was just questioning your suggestion that Klitschko was 'shot' in the Fury fight, and presumably even more 'shot' in the AJ fight. That seems to imply that Fury had the harder task (relative to AJ) and yet, dealt with Klitschko much easier than AJ did. I don't think that's the conclusion you were aiming at, given that you don't seem to think much of Fury? Or do you simply think that Wilder is a better boxer than both Fury and AJ?
Regardless, all this talk is kind of superficial as we will find out what is what on 2nd December. That said, I find it hard to believe that you think no "possible version of Fury can beat current Wilder" - Fury's style is just all wrong for Wilder: evasive, unpredictable, hard to catch clean, mobile... Wilder only has one thing going for him, if Fury nullifies Wilder's tremendous right hand, what else can Wilder do, realistically? Fury only has to keep wheeling away from the right hand and he has a draw-decision in his pocket... then, a few landed punches per round and Fury's won the fight. I don't see what Wilder's game-plan can possibly be, except to try and land that one big punch, Wilder certainly can't out-box him
A good boxer always beats a good puncher (well, at least, they should - the only question-mark on this fight is on how Fury turns up)

I don’t do bets, but stand by my assessment. For the sake of boxing, I hope I am wrong as a genuine US hw champ is good for the sport.
Until then I will enjoy the build up and Fury’s awesome trash talking.
Are you yella?
This is how I feel except that I don't think any possible version of Fury can beat current Wilder.
Fury only beat Wlad because his reflexes are/were shot.
That is interesting. Normally we hear, 'Klitschko wasn't himself that fight' or something similar (implying Klitschko was back to himself for the Joshua fight). I disagree with your assessment; I feel that Klitschko was made to look the way he did by virtue of the way Fury handled him. People don't give Fury enough credit for his craft... I wonder how you'll react if Fury beats Wilder in a similar fashion
So Ali and Joe Louis were basically shot at 35 but Wlad wasn't at 39? To me, Wlad couldn't pull the trigger. He even showed a little lesser signs of it in the prev Jennings fight.
And if Fury beats Wilder in any fashion......
Correction: If Fury simply doesn't get KO'd, (he will)
I will give him massive credit. That said, prime Wlad would wipe out Wilder, Fury and Joshua. Shot 41 y/o Wladimir still almost stopped prime Joshua.

In many respects, I'm bored of the endless threads on this. Fury easily beats Wilder without the layoff; the only thing that makes this fight competitive is the fact that Fury abused his body and became inactive for so long. If Fury can get back to even a fraction of where he was in the Klitschko fight, then he schools Wilder all day long. Wilder is tailor-made for Fury's style: I can see Fury pot-shotting and being evasive, Wilder getting frustrated and not getting close, something akin to what happened in Lemieux v Saunders (Wilder is a lot more athletic than that lumbering Pepsi, sure, but still, Wilder is similar with regard to his lack of finesse).
I'm following the developments, but I'm not reading into it too much; the proof of the pudding will be plain to see on fight night. As I say, it all comes down to whether Fury has still got something left in him. Wilder, well, he is what he is, and he isn't getting any better - the only way Wilder pulls this off is if Fury has lost too much from inactivity
