You can tell who really knows what they’re watching..
I can tell most of you never boxed a round in your life, what usyk does aka take 4 rounds to learn his opps movements is exactly what Floyd did and it’s genius.
Again you can’t see this as a fat guy commenting but I’ll go all in on $ with any of you with usyk vs anyone.
Usyk's strategy wasn't to "see" what Bellew was doing for 5 rounds, he was trying to fight his normal fight but he couldn't land and was getting countered so he just put pressure with his hands up and waited for Bellew to gas out which he did before in a number of fights.
It's not about just observing and adjusting, it's also about taking advantage of your opponent's weaknesses like stamina. A fighter who can stick to that without panicking despite losing rounds after rounds is indeed a mentally tough fighter who can mentally deal with anybody, very dangerous characteristic in any pro fighter.
Quite right.
He had his game plan and stuck to it and reaped the rewards.
Their was no way Bellow was going to win another rnd after the 7th.
It's was clear and obvious bellew was tired. He didn't have the stamina to go all 12. I knew the KO will happen anytime after the 6th round.
Golovkin also gets sht for it. This is obvious stuff if your watched even a bit of these guys fights. Until your power has waned, Golovkin will box, Canelo always starts blazing fast, and as a result slows down, Mayweather will change it up as one of the smartest guys, the way he fights is dependent on a fully fleshed out strategy he has devised.
Usyk measures, but he still didnt outbox Bellew, he won because he was better conditioned, is what a lot of you seem unable to accept.
Its reality. Usyk's best win is a narrow win vs briedis and briedis just lost to gevor. How can you possibly ignore that? Berto is not even a top 10 win for floyd so dont know why you mentioning him. He beat proven elite fighters.
If a fighters resume is shallow and he is unproven like briedis' was then we dont know how good he really was. He beat an old huck, albeit with a broken rib.
Having said that, eye test suggests usyk is very good. Fast, adjusts, stamina, strong , and with unbeaten mentality hes gonna be hard to beat. But he legitimately lost rounds vs bellew. And got hit , not on purpose like you guys are suggesting.
You think Usyk's best win is Breidis? Would you really be saying that if the fight wasn't close?
Gassiev and Bellew were both better wins.
So Usyk's plan was to eat right hands, wouldn't have worked without it right? Can't believe what i'm reading by idiots claiming they know boxing. :lol1:
Got some gifs of all those vicious right hands that Usyk was eating all night? Nobody else seems to recall Usyk getting rocked or even taking much of a shot.
They same thing some said when AJ lost some rounds against podvetkin, they said he was out boxing him.
Some fighters are very patient irrespective of the rounds to position their opponents for a KO.
Quite right.

Exactly what I said earlier on.
Why does Mayweather get a pass for taking 4 rounds and sticking to his game plan against an mma fighter and Usyk doesn't against a world class fighter.
Usyk had a plan stuck to it and got the perfect result.
Some people just can't see it.

... Yes... Usyk was just waiting to get KOd eventually... but he wasn't that lucky...
It was clear Usyk was never in danger. He let Tony exhaust himself like a fool and quickly dispatched him as soon as the time was right.
AK is correct in that people don't know what they're watching. I was calling the first few rounds out to my wife, explaining, "see how Usyk is letting Bellew throw, figuring out his gamelan, letting him expend his explosive energy so that he slows, then he'll be an easy ko later."
I come on here and people are calling Bellew brilliant! Saying he's taking this fight. :lol1: lol...
Froch pretty much said the same thing and that he was going to come on strong later.

You always believe what a Mayweather camp says to the media?
Excuses is all I read from that.
You for real?
Did he have some type of injury that we all don't know about suggesting his body wouldn't allow him to train.
You just trolling me bro..

Thank you. I swear i knew some posters have zero knowledge about the sport when i saw there threads yesterday. They fail to see a boxer with an IQ!!! I was thinking what were they watching! I get irritated when i see threads like those after Mayweather has put on one of his clinical surgical clinics.
Usyk was methodically stripping Bellew of everything right in front of the world, in mind, in spirit and physically you can see bellew losing his shit.
I came to read on here and all i could see was Usyk would get beat by HW this, Usyk is another kovalev etc
When was Mayweather behind after 7 rounds against a Bellew level opponent? If that was Usyk's gameplan it's a ****ing terrible one. If he takes 4 rounds and gets hit at HW he's going to get KTFO in those 4 rounds.
People always trying to compare other fighters to Mayweather. Mayweather was a once in an era fighter. Comparing fighters to him only sets them up for a big fall and ridicule when they fail.
I stopped reading after behind 7 rounds..
There is a reason you’re known as a clown here how many more names you gonna change??
Floyd was shot and his body barely allowed him to train
You for real?
