Mismatch
Joshua is just to big and to strong for Usyk. Joshua is the second best heayweight today behind Wilder and while I believe Usyk would fight Joshua because of the money he'd get caught sooner of later and just get destroyed. We're not talking about a few pounds or stones difference in weight we're talking a lot of difference and a huge difference in punching power. They can build this fight up all they want but after a round or two it will be a mismatch. History has shown that Usyk would have a huge uphill battle

i really believe Usyk doesn't rate any of the heavyweights in terms of skill. He said he doesn't see anything that good about Joshua, just a solid fighter.
i think that he believes he can outbox them all. i'm sure he's not stupid enough to disregard their power but there's punchers at every weight anyway. if he thinks they won't find him with the right shot, then he has good reason to be confident. and he isn't a small man.
Not sure who he could fight to test the water against guys that are 6'6" or whatever and a good test. Fighters like Whyte, Chisora, Parker, Pulev, Ortiz, Povetkin etc. are all similar height to him, or shorter. Helenius maybe, he's tall but probably not good enough a test at this point. Maybe he isn't even concerned with the height anyway.
Povetkin is apparently on the April 13th card ... Usyk wouldn't / would he ?
It'd definitely be a watchable fight; but Povetkin's slightly shorter than Usyk, so it wouldn't really show how he can handle someone who's at least 6'5 and 240lbs.
Usyk is p4p #1 and if Joshua ever fights him, Usyk will put on a boxing clinic and humiliate AJ.
The only real question is, will Joshua agree to a fight he will lose against Usyk, without first cashing in with a fight against Wilder? If AJ loses to Usyk after turning down $50 million for Wilder...
Everybody wants AJ to loose. Everything tomboy that shows potentials will beat AJ according to wilder fans. Any tomboy that wants to cash out will be chasing AJ all around as if hez the only champion.
Even H. Fury was chasing AJ before his eliminator against pulev which he eventually lost.
Every fighter wants to cash out with AJ/hearn. It's a positive sign. It shows whose the kingpin in the division.
Amateur and Pro boxing are almost 2 completely different sports. Yes Usyk did well against big guys like Joyce in the 5 round amateur fights, but I'd need to see how he handles a big HW over 12 rounds before I'd be convinced that he could beat either of the champs. He's signed up to Matchroom and DAZN, so maybe Whyte/Miller before going for a belt - a real belt not the plastic one Miller's expected to pick up in his next fight.
I'd take the money if I was usyk, he's smart enough to avoid getting brutally ko'd but he will lose the fight fighting negativley.
His fans want to belive he walks on water and turns water into kool-aid but they are in for a rude awakening if those fights do take place.
... :) ... (I simply can't forget that Porter beat him in the amateurs)...
Gassiev isn't joshua or wilder is he, gassiev is smaller than usyk.
Have you ever had any kind of physical altercation with a man who is a lot bigger than you? It's tiring, if he gets hold of you for more than a few seconds its draining.
I know the usyk fans want to belive he is this perfect fighter with no flaws or weaknesses but trust me when I say against the super heavyweights his skill gap isn't going to be enough to win him the fights.
Lomachenko is his best mate and he said he reccomends Usyk to stay away from the likes of Wilder and Joshua, his exact words, If it's me im not in a hurry to fight those guys, i wouldnt do it just now
and loma knows more about boxing than you
... no rocket science here... but it's about the money, doe!...
Yes he and his team want that money. I assume Usyk fights Chisora next on April 13th as the Co Main Event of Joshua at Wembley. Btw great HW debut against a well known name in the big Wembley arena.
... I really hope Usyk makes some big money before he gets badly KOd by one of those giants... :)
... if he wants some big money, Usyk has no choice but fighting the HW giants...

very tough fight for Usyk
People like to point to his 5 round UD over Joyce and though he did make Joyce look very basic in that one the thing people don't mention is how Usyks lungs were dropping out of his ass by the 5th round in that one, in a 12 round fight i think joyce actually would have stopped him in 8-9 rounds. It's one thing to look good against these big dudes for a few rounds, quite another to last the 36 minutes and get your hands raised.
Usyk actually said Joyce was one of his hardest opponents and that is what he's referring to, unlike gassiev and bredis etc he had to give everything in every round in that one.
i give him full credit for trying and don't doubt he will have a good go but joshua, fury, wilder are just too big for a guy that doesn't have the physicality to deal with them (like holyfield did)
Usyk looked even small standing near Malik Scott and Scott isn't the biggest Heavyweight https://www.instagram.com/p/BoepzMeAF69/

Have you seen him fight since then? Bscause he just danced around Gassiev throwing 1000 punches over 12 rounds (with 120 in the 12th round)
So safe to say he isn’t getting gassed in 5 rounds.
very tough fight for Usyk

Usyk was flat footed against Joyce. But usually he uses his legs and movement since he turned pro. But still this alone won't save him to get stopped by the elite Heavyweights.
Usyk is very talented but I feel he’s biting off more than he can chew which I appreciate and respect when it comes to fighting AJ!
I can see him totally dominating Joshua till he gets caught with something big and the fight will be over!
I say 8th round or 9th round stoppage while completely out boxing AJ the entire fight till he gets caught!
Gassiev caught him good one time and he was almost certainly gonna be on Queer Street if there was a follow up punch!
AJ hits 10x as hard and has longer reach!
Agree. Just to outbox his opponents won't save him at Heavyweight. He will get caught and then stopped by the Joshua & Wilder. And this comes from a Ukrainian who supports Usyk.
