What do you think Showtime's minimum bottomline is for this fight...
Obviously they want 500k+
Even Hearn was saying that IF this fight does 1 Milli.
The winner would automatically be the A side Vs. Joshua.
(That means he knows this wont even come close to it)
I read that they are splitting 20m each. They need at least 1m buys to cover those purses.
Well Tyson said they split 2m each so it all depends who you listen to.
Well I would say that Shelly Finkel definitely has a long track record of working with fighters especially from the promotional company Main Events led by the Duva family like: Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Mark Breland, Tyrell Biggs, Meldrick Taylor, Fernando Vargas and also the Klitschko boys; Like Vitali and Wladimir.
Exactly what am trying to say...
Jay deas and AL haymon will only further reduce his take home pay doing virtually nothing.
I might be wrong though but from my observations, I think he doesn't need them. Donkey alone is capable of managing and promoting wilder and make it a success.Well I would say that Shelly Finkel definitely has a long track record of working with fighters especially from the promotional company Main Events led by the Duva family like: Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Mark Breland, Tyrell Biggs, Meldrick Taylor, Fernando Vargas and also the Klitschko boys; Like Vitali and Wladimir.
I understand what you are saying but in the case of Al Haymon he never speaks to no one. He is both microphone and camera shy. He is just your typical mover and shaker behind the scenes man.
Now on the other hand, Jay Deas does occasionally speaks to the media. However, the only who typically speaks on Deontay Wilder's behalf is Shelly Finkel; Given his age and overall experience.
The other two; Jay Deas and Al Haymon lack the big fight experience of a Shelly Finkel. That is why he has been designated as Deontay Wilder's spokesperson and front man.

Smiles, sorry my bad.
Why have finkel, Al haymon and the other loffer.
What exactly is their function combined.
He is better of with just one.I understand what you are saying but in the case of Al Haymon he never speaks to no one. He is both microphone and camera shy. He is just your typical mover and shaker behind the scenes man.

300k will be a success for this fight. Not a big or important fight but people like Fury and he can talk and sell. What's the PPVs price for this?

What do you mean YouTube?

I voted for 500k purely because I think there will be enough interest on both sides of the pond wanting to see who could end up fighting Joshua. I'm sure there are haters but this isn't just about Wilder and Fury, its about whether Wilder can step up in class, take the lineage and move on to the undisputed unification with Joshua. Or, its whether Fury can show up when it matters and prove he is the best HW technician.
Speaking for myself, I cannot wait for this! Undercard is a pile of dog mess but I would pay to see the main event and I'm sure there would be a lot of UK fans who would say the same which i think is enough to bump the numbers.
Can't really speak for US and the rest of the world but surely there are millions of interested fans!
True, he doesn't have a promoter but why have series of video editors speaking on his behalf?
I predicted that the fight would do at least 1 million buys but it if doesn't and it does well over a half a million buys, then I would still consider it a success. It's because one has to remember that Deontay Wilder doesn't have a promoter and Frank Warren is Tyson Fury's promoter who is based out of the U.K.

I have heard a lot of people say boxing is not a main stream sport in the US. I have thought about it find out what the major problem is. From my personal analysis and some comments on this forum, I believe the casuals, hard core fans and the average citizens have interest in the sport but the major set back is the "pricing system".
US has the population to make stadium fights and fill the arena if the pricing system can be reviewed to accommodate more fans especially the casuals, others that are gradually picking interest in the sport and those that want to attend events but the price push them back.
If the US can adopt the UK pricing system, am convinced the sport will be very huge in the US. This is a very big reason DAZN and other streaming services should be supported at a minimal price that will accommodate any person interested in the sport.
20k venue is not a too large arena for the venue not to be sold out. US has the capacity to fill that arena in one week if the price is right. The US pricing system is a rip off and not promoting the sport enough especially to the casuals. The pricing system should be reviewed for the progress of the sport at large.
