Spence Vs. M. Garcia first quarter 2019

I don't like the Spence/Mikey, Kahn/Canelo, GGG/Brook type of fights when there are more meaningful fights to be made in the division. Now If Spence had cleaned out WW, Mikey cleaned out 140 and they fought, ok. But to have Spence/Mikey when we could have Spence/Porter or Crawford and Mikey/Loma or Comney just annoys me. Wonder what happened with Spence-Porter.Seems like they were both down to fight next and than no more talk about it

Good post. I agree. Brook was too small and Garcia will be too. Both of them should focus on guys in their division. WW is stacked... If it was big money fight I would understand but I dont think it is... Cant really knock Spence if he makes his biggest payday but I would like to see him fight the elite of the division. I mean yes Garcia beat Broner pretty easily but at some point Broner hurt him to the body. Can you imagine a big body puncher like Spence? What you think will happen? Garcia will get beat easily. Respect to him for taking this fight but it is just stupid at this point. I still dont believe it will get made but lets see...

uh no. If you look at my posts, IMO one of the dumbest things NSB collectively engaged in was discussing if Brook exposed GGG. I'm not one of those type of idiot clowns. Brook landed some good shots. GGG had some adversity, came through it, and won. The mark of a good fighter is winning through adversity. sounds like you mad that one of your fighters that you like will have to lose their 0. It's an interesting fight that gets both guys paid. Stop whining. Who's whining? I'm expressing my opinion that I do not like the fight. It's predictable and quite frankly won't be competitive. There are a multitude of fights that each could take that would be better and probably result in more money. Now you stop whining, pu$sy.

Fair play to Mikey for belieiving in himself but he should have a manager, promoter or advisor steering him away from this type of thing. That's the problem with staying unaffiliated. The people in charge of making this fight have more invested in Spence than him, so they won't think twice about putting him at risk in order to give Spence a boost

Spence finally having a crack @ a A+ name, boxing is alive & well !

Mikey Garcia wasn't even big at 140, and his power didn't look special either. Now, he wants to fight the largest of all the top level welterweights? Errol Spence is not Sergey Lipinets or Adrien Broner. He has the power to wreck guys his size, let alone a much smaller one in Mikey Garcia. He's gonna have to box damnear perfectly to win that fight, and I don't think he has the skill to pull it off. He has a better chance at beating Lomachenko.

This is no longer a cool idea. Regrettably, I don't think we'll ever see him fight Lomachenko. It's just not possible at this point; At least not in the near future.

Much rather see Mikey/Loma and Crawford/Spence. This just feels like a GGG/Brook fight where the bigger guy gets a sure win and the smaller guy doesn't have to lose his title in a potentially tough defense against a relative unknown. Sucks for Spence that win/lose IF he doesn't dispatch Garcia the way his hype has said he should social media will smash him to bits. "Mikey" on the other hand just needs to do him & box Spence until he finds a counter punch... rinse & repeat. Regardless... LomaChenko & Crawford are still there after the fact for the winner/loser. Mofos act like somebody is gonna die or be handicapped after the fight. Just a payday folks that could ONLY go wrong for Spence.

this is a boxing match not a body building competition you douchenozzle. mikey is skilled enough to do damage. He can't punch at 140 which he admitted so no reason arguing over it. He ran back to 135. He was getting tagged to the head and body by a kickboxer. Anyone who watched that whole fight and not some edited highlights knows Mikey struggled with Lipinets.

I won't knock Garcia for taking a tough fight, but i think Spence is way too big for him. I also don't see Spence getting much credit if he's wins.

mikey gonna stack on the muscle, he not gonna be able to make 135 after this. But I hope it happens just another hype job getting axed By The Superior Fighter! Bro as much as I love Mikey and in my mind he is a better fighter than Spence, I can't see anything but a beating here S&C won't make any difference, he needs PED's and even then he might still get that work. Mikey's punches were bouncing off AB, and looked that bit slower, weight and natural size matter. No matter how I look at this equation it ends up with Mikey getting picked off in the early rounds and then stopped in the mid to late rounds. Spence has a size and strength advantage over all the WW's, forget the little guys, and he's a very good fighter on top.
