Thank goodness Showtime still has boxing. Looks like that's where I'm going for the big fights.
It's appalling how bad DAZN and ESPN are at the production value of boxing.
Maybe we were lucky all these years as niche as boxing is, to have such high production value. We may lose PPV and premium channels but I would rather pay than this garbage.
These big fights have been turned into your average college football game on these sports channels. You can't have these terrible announcers, production etc during big fights. Maybe it's just the way we are headed?
I have no faith in ESPN. They can't even get their Monday Night Football crew decent
I at least hope if DAZN is going to be the new face of boxing, we get Lampley etc over there.
They pay Michael Buffer all that money and the rest of their production is worse than a Tuesday Night Fight on USA back in the 90's
Smh
Plenty of familiar faces at the #AndradeKautondokwa weigh-in as several behind the scenes folks who have worked on HBO #boxing events have moved on to @DAZN_USA— Dan Rafael (@danrafaelespn) October 19, 2018
My DAZN stream was freezing in some of the rounds. Hated that, but i don't have a problem with their production at all. SHO does make it seem like there is a bigger fight feel, but DAZN usually has very good streaming and nice production.
I disagree. I really don't see any difference production quality wise between DAZN and Showtime. Al Bernstein is the best analyst in boxing though so Showtime does have that.
