Is it good. Is the commentary good. I heard its **** and a waste of money
EDIT: I heard there's a woman presenter who doesn't have a clue what she's talking about, she just look sexy that's all
I have and must admit that I am quite pleasantly surprised by its content, quality and production. I hope I am wrong but it sounds like Sugar Ray Leonard could be suffering from on early onset of CTE.
Since he is awfully quiet during the bouts. He is less talkative than he was on HBO for instance. However, Sergio Mora does a fantastic job of breaking down the action for the fans though. Perhaps Leonard is just shy. I don't know.
I dont have DAZN so havent seen him on it. Hes 62 now, about the same age as Floyd Sr.
Here he is in 2011, sounding crystal clear

So if there is a big decline from that, it doesnt sound good.
Because regular cable for espn and PBC on FS1 is $50, espn+ is $5, showtime is $11, and now DAZN is $10 let's not forget there's probable two big PPVs a year for $70 a piece which = $140. Oh let's not forget we need fast Internet to stream boxing now $50 minimum.
So yearly:
DAZN = $120
SHO=$132
ESPN + =$60
Cable = $600
Internet = $600
PPVs =$140
So if you're a boxing fan you're paying $1650 a year to watch mismatches and fighters duck the heII out of each other.
That is some imaginative budgeting! You forgot to add in the cost of the chair to sit on watching it, the electricity for your router, your rent/mortgage costs etc.
Seriously though your point is ****ing bizarre. Your saying it would cost 'x' to watch every single boxing product, which is basically irrelevant. If cost is an issue than that is only a further argument for getting DAZN, as you are getting 40 plus cards from GBP/ Matchroom plus the WBSS. That is a huge percentage of top level boxing out there for a fraction of your 1600 figure. If I lived in the US I would be starting from there and then picking the rest according to what I could afford.
I did the 30 day “trial period”, then I decided to keep it. Looking like a good choice in the future. Better than paying 50-99$ in PPV. Plus I get to see more exciting fights on a weekend basis or 2 max.
Just signed up this morning after i heard the story break.
Once they got Canelo it was a no brainer. Pumped to see all the boxing on top of all his fights.
Exactly, and this is just the beginning of the DAZN revolution :burnout:
Its definitely not a good role for SRL. They should have him talking to family members in the crowd or hanging out with a fighter in the game & talking a lil bit with him 1 on 1 or something else. They need to play around with SRL's part I feel like.He reminds me of Senator John McCain (RIP) ... they need to let Ray have a few lines but nothing more
This basically.
I actually had massive problems for the first few shows & was thinking of canceling once my free month was up, but seem to have figured them out last time out so I will be keeping it.
But yea if you are a boxing fan & aren't buying this for the WBSS tournament you can't be THAT much of a fan. And now with Canelo on there, who's the biggest name in the game, idk how you can pass on it.
I like Mannix on his podcast more than I like his post-fight interviews, but I think he's still fairly new to it & he's a smart cat so I think he'll find his groove eventually.
Sergio Mora is solid with his breakdowns. Sometimes says some nutty sh^t, but no more than anyone else is prone to. He's no Paulie basically.
Idk what to make of Ak & Barak yet. Not loving them, not hating them.
And I know people are giving SRL sh^t left & right, but I just kinda dig Ray being associated with boxing sh^t. I don't think his current position is the one he should be holding. Idk what they should have him doing, but maybe they should play around with that.
Randomly they need to give my man Kugan a show on DAZN of some sort. I thought I heard Hearn mention that in a interview when this DAZN boxing thing was still in the talking stage & I hope they stick to that. I think Kugan is a better cat to pick to represent boxing than Ak & Barak who seem to be doing so much of the shoulder programming.
They could give Ray some sort of segment where he answers questions or some *****. maybe something pretaped too, give him a better chance. Some guys just arent as quick on their feet live.
I don’t have it connected yet. But I’ll have my internet guy hook it up. Fuk yea. I’m loving DAZN a lot more now.
Yup. Was tired of bootlegging cheap ass streams for all the Canelo + big boxing fights.
I have too many bills to just pay 80 bucks for PPV. Its broken down into $10 dollar payments. I can F with that.
Thank you GBP, Canelo and DAZN. I can finally watch a big time boxing match without breaking my wallet.

Get another job then. Or don't watch. You have choices. Think outside the box.

I’ll maybe get it next year if they put on some better fights. I already pay for 3 monthly/yearly pay services, I will only add another if I think it’s really worth it.
If you are American, like boxing enough to be posting on a boxing forum, and are in any sort of reasonably decent financial situation , how the living **** could you not be paying 10 dollars a month for that amount of boxing content?

Really? Shhht my flat screen is a smart tv. So I can just download the app from my tv then and then watch it there? If so that’s badass and that makes DAZN even better In my eyes and I already like watching it from just my computer screen.Just as long your smart TV has a Wi-Fi connection to the internet then you are good.
Purchase a digital media device such as Amazon Fire stick, Roku, Chromecast or a video game console like Playstation 3 and 4 or XBOX.
Also, it's a lot more expensive but you can purchase a smart TV too; Where you can download the apps on them.
However, I would recommend, the digital media devices because of their lower pricing like Amazon Fire stick or Chromecast.
Ok cool thankyou man
