Crawford is not as good as we thought

Crawford is one of those fighters where it all depends how good his opponent is for him to show how good he is in there himself, like there are levels to his adjustments. Pacquiao, D. Garcia, Porter, Thurman, Spence, all those high level guys would bring out his best tools I believe.

Loma has a loss against journeyman Salido and was put down by and went life and death against C- Linares, who has been KOed 3 times by C grade fighters. Think about that for a minute. Crawfords 2nd fight was against the highly regarded Filiberto Nieto, with a glossy 1-4 record. Think about that for a minute.

yeah, a real p4p #2 would have had a 100% connect rate in jabs and power punches, while being hit 0 times. What a fraud this 3 division champ is.

These anti-Crawford threads are meant to discredit him as P4P #1 and give Lomachenko a bigger boost. Although I wasn't thoroughly impressed with Crawford his performance didn't do anything to lessen my opinion he's the best of the best. He was never in danger of losing the fight and he finished Benavidez. What else was he expected to do? With that being said I give Spence a greater chance to beat him. My problem with Crawford last night was him walking into shots he didn't see coming. He also couldn't afford to be tentative against Spence like was early in the fight. Spence applies all kinds of crazy pressure.

Relax, he's not a power puncher. He dominated the whole fight. How many rounds did Benavidez win? As they said, he's the 2nd coming of Floyd Mayweather, boring but takes time to drown his opponents deep water and check mate!

The first KD was a sensational knock down, the refs should not have stopped it at the point that he did. I would have preferred Jose going out on his shield.

Crawford is supposed to be P4P top 2, in the prime of his life at 31 years of age. He didn't look it tonight. For the first 6 rounds benavidez looked like damn pernell Whitaker in there. Bobbing and weaving with his hands down making crawford miss just like at the weigh in. While sometimes getting the better of crawford during exchanges. Let's not forget, benavidez was inactive for almost two years and fighting with one leg. After 6, when it was obvious benavidez was tired and his knee cap had collapsed on him, only then is when crawford "found his rhythm" and "made adjustments" lmao. Thurman and Spence blast this kid. Why are black fans impressed with Crawford just because he outscored Benavidez in nearly every round and got the TKO? Big deal. Chavez did that years ago.

I think people are going too far when they say he's #1 P4P but he's still a very good fighter. He definitely has flaws but he's got some nice skills too. I was a little surprised at how much he was getting hit tonight and if Benevidez didn't have a bum knee I don't know if Bud would have managed to get the upper hand starting around the 6th round. There were too many things that Benevidez did that were working well for me to feel that Crawford is the best fighter in the welterweight division.....Or maybe Benevidez is a great fighter too?...Hmmm, not sure about that though.
