Why is Showtime all quite? Why is Charlo’s promoter not pushing for that fight? If they want it, they gotta push for it.
So far I only see simpletons on youtube and twitter like Deontae pushing the myth GGG is ducking, yet there isn’t anything on the table.
ESPN and DAZN are pushing hard to get GGG, while Showtime and Team Charlo, whoever there is in the background pulling strings, are all quite.
I have no doubt Charlo wants the fight, but boxing isn’t social welfare. GGG gonna go for the most lucrative option and if Showtime and Team Charlo don’t make moves, we get Charlo vs. O’Sullivan in June 2019.
Same goes for GGG, he brings nothing to the table anymore. Every guy he fought, including Jacobs, didn't bring in no money. His biggest pay days are because of other promoters. His biggest pay days are in thanks to Brook and Canelo. K2 is like Main Events, they can't afford to pay fighters. If GGG was with GB or Top Rank, he would be making way more money per fight against the same fighters he fought
Golovkin clearly brings more to the table than Jacobs or Charlo.
This isn't about promoters it is about who is being promoted. Brook and Canelo have fans. Charlo and Jacobs don't. Golovkin has fans but not enough to carry a fight to mult-million dollar levels by himself.
If Canelo or GGG don't wanna fight Charlo its win for him. Regardless he's in a mandatory spot. Canelo either fights him or he would have to vacate if he would end up fighting GGG instead of his mandatory. GGG and his team want no part of Charlo, they see him as a nobody but ironic when GGG was fighting nobodies like Wade and Monroe. I think he'll end up fighting Murata, K2 can't afford to pay GGG money, and Arum would pay more for Murata/GGG in Japan. GGG will be going back to making less than 3 mil if K2 has to promote fights against Charlo, Andrade or Jacobs.
Canelo already trashed his WBC belt once. And Golovkin was at that point far more deserving of the fight vs. Canelo than Charlo is now. Two the public was well aware of Golovkin and what it meant when Canelo threw away the belt. Canelo doing the same vs. Charlo isn't going to have much of an effect on Canelo.
The reason people box is to make money. Charlo getting a title that way isn't a big win. He wants a big fight and big money. So great he gets the title but he wants the money and prestige of winning against a top opponent.
I think Charlo was always going to be up against it getting a big fight this year or even next year. Had Golovkin got the decision he might have been more inclined to fight Charlo to defend his title. Even then I think that wouldn't have happened until things were clearly done with Canelo (no third fight) and Murata was off the table. Even then he still had a potential BJ fight (before he got suspended) and even a Jacobs/Derevy winner. That is how low Charlo is on the pecking order. I am not saying it is right just looking at the reality. With Golovkin no longer the champion the chance of him fighting Charlo got even worse than had he won . . . I'd say no chance now.
Another guy Charlo should target is Lemiuex . . . not because he is a great name obviously but he is a named fighter and there is some buzz there.
We will see if I'm right but I think my estimate that Charlo won't see a Canelo (or Golovkin) fight won't happen until possibly late 2019 is looking more likely. I'm now leaning towards 2020 (and that would be only against Canelo).
If he fights Murata he will probably make multi-millions. That is why that fight is likely to happen in Japan.
But no Golovkin is not going to make mult-millions of dollars fighting guys in the States who bring nothing to the table.

The tickets were really over priced for the Vanes fight. That has a lot to do with it. You have to know the price point. I couldn't believe what they were charging for Golovkin-Vanes, are you kidding me.
I think it is unlikely that Golovkin fights Charlo. I think Murata is next and then if he and Canelo agree they'll fight again. He doesn't need Charlo to get a third fight with Canelo if that is what they both want.
I think Charlo is likely in for another year of no Golovkin or Canelo. I said this back in early 2017. I said that is why he needed to get fighting better opponents to create more of a public buzz. He has fought two stiffs over two years and has no one lined up right now.
He should call out Golovkin. He will know that fight is unlikely but his appeal should be one of respect. Basically saying I know it took you (Golovkin) a while to get the big fight, let me have that chance. Let me prove to the world I'm the best.
Once he sees Golovkin is not going to fight him then target Canelo. Canelo isn't going to fight him any time soon I believe so he should go right away after the Jacobs/Derevy winner. Or get working on Andrade.
Charlo needs to do a lot more hustling. The WBC isn't going to force guys who have a lot of options that make them money and can add to their boxing legacy as much if not more than beating Charlo.

GGG makes 2 million when he fights under his promoter. His biggest paydays are because of Brook and Canelo. He should thank Oscar and Hearn. GGG just made 1 million for his last fight. GGG isn't Canelo or AJ where he makes millions with whoever he fights. GGG's multi million paydays are now all again after Canelo.
If he fights Murata he will probably make multi-millions. That is why that fight is likely to happen in Japan.

I was there, never seen so many empty seats at that place. We only went because we got free tickets. Saw Charlo/JRock at the Galen center and that was packed. Galen Center holds around 10k compared to Stub Hub which holds 8k

He should sign with Hearn. Al Haymon is destroying another career here.
Nah his career would be really destroyed by fighting on an app in front of 15k viewership
The Vanes fight was on less than a month notice and probably still outdrew most fight cards Charlo headlines.

He got 45% against Canelo in the most lucrative fight of the year. Charlo is an undercard fighter. I mean literally.
Try again. Bum.

I'd take this post seriously if you knew how to spell quiet.
Why not? Golovkin isn't a big draw on himself. Look at te Vanes fight. You know Golovkin is going to run for the hills. Trying to get your excuses in.
Charlo will come out a winner in that situation. Golovkin ducking and a shot at Canelo. Life will be sweet for Charlo.
Besides, Team GGG has already stated that GGG is done fighting this year and don't believe Charlo deserves to fight GGG. If anything GGG gonna end up fighting Murata in Japan for the secondary WBA

Also, Charlo will not be fighting O'Sullivan - 0% chance of that fight happening next.
Huh? How exactly is SHO going to be pushing for this fight when it isn't even clear that Golovkin wants it? Golovkin determines if the fight happens or not. If he chooses to go in another direction, then Charlo either gets a direct shot at Canelo, or he fights the next highest rated guy. Though not sure how that would make sense since he was already the mandatory.
Fun fact. He will be mandatory when Golovkin runs away.
Typical casual comment. Go to bed, dumbo.
Canelo is not new to the dropping belt business.
What's inaccurate? If Golovkin walks away Charlo will get his shot at Canelo. Nothing inaccurate about that.
That idiot really thinks Charlo will get a shot at Canelo by fighting the Heilands of this world.
The Vanes fight was on less than a month notice and probably still outdrew most fight cards Charlo headlines.
Fun fact: Charlo has never headlined a card.
 You think he got 45%
Charlo won't mind if Golovkin ducks. He'll have a shot at Canelo.
He made more in one fight than the whole PBC roster this year altogether.

It's been ordered. No need to push. Will go to purse bid. Whoever walks away is the one ducking.
Nope. Every man and his dog knows Charlo won’t get anything near 50% against Golovkin. If you think otherwise, you must be retarded.
Charlo rather fights bums once a year, smokes weed and plays video games. You will see him fighting some bum early next year.
He should sign with Hearn. Al Haymon is destroying another career here.
